I beat the life out of this drill and it still works fine. I have only had it for a few weeks but using it around the house has been perfection.

great replacement driil more powerful than original old batteries compatible with new drill. I have been using Ryobi 18  for years but was wanting a hammer drill after I recently struggled to put holes in my shower tile with the Ryobi, and I was looking to save some $ along the way.

Have a bunch of screws you need to take out for whatever reason? No problem. Great little battery powered driver.  At 71, arms and hands are weak.  This is perfect.

Powerful and not too unwieldy either works like a charm.  Easy to maneuver around with one hand on a ladder too. This thing is great, hold a charge for a good long while, drills holes and works oh so nice as a screwdriver.  So glad I got it two thumbs way up would totally recommend! Works like a charm woohooo. This power drill feels great in the hand.

Very well made - nice size for a hand drill, powerful, nice features - speed, torque adjustments and keyless chuck.  Great addition to my tools!. Wife is able to lowe and raise camper jacks, allowing me to either connect or disconnect camper.

I have had great luck with the 20v lineup.  My first battery purchased in 2014 is still going strong, as is the weed eater it came with.  The placement of the LED light lights up the work area.  I was pleasantly surprised with how good it feels in the band.  However, for the price, this is a great drill. Great grip and feel.

Compare to this cordless drill I have just purchased, which has less power, but will probably mostly be used for driving screws and using the sanding adapter. .  Compare, to my other drill, which is a cord B&D I have bought about 25 years ago, and it is lightly used, but it is well made in USA which makes it rare these days. It is a light weight and slim looking cordless drill.

It is been this way for 10 years across many sites, not just . I now have 3 drills.  You can get an extra drill plus keep $20 in your pocket vs buying replacement batteries.  Buying a new drill  on sale  that includes a battery and charger is $20 cheaper than buying a new 20V battery with no charger.  Notice that adding an extra battery on this listing costs more than just buying two drills  on sale  that include the battery and charger.  It saves so much time and this one is lightweight and great for women.  They all work great.

Overall, I am delighted with this power drill's performance, and it has truly enhanced my DIY experience. This cordless drill is well built and works great!! It has a built in flash light, and it does show your battery percentage.  Battery life is really good, once fully charged mine lasts a few hours of continuously working.  The size of it is very convenient for carrying around.

Great for small projects here and there. Loving it so far.  It does not claim to be a drill so I was surprised at the reviewers expectations.

This is a simple, well designed, easy to use, electric screwdriver they should have released years ago  rather than the one they did . Black & Decker finally got around to bringing back the features from an older model screwdriver that made it useful.   Had an old B&D NiCd screwdriver that looked a lot like the 9072.  When the NiCd's would not hold a charge any longer I bought a PD400LG because of the twist handle that gave you a choice of either a straight handle or a pistol grip handle.  The location of the on/off switch almost guaranteed that you would accidentally turn it on at the wrong time. Viene muy completo y de muy buena calidad.  Only trouble was it operated off of the on/off switch - so the screwdriver had to be turning in order for the light to come on.   B&D design engineers thought that was a good idea?  The forward/reverse switch was on the handle - but not well located if you constantly switching directions.   Needless to say, when I saw the Li2000 I bought one.  The on/off switch is back in the same place as on the older model where it is easy to get to, but not in the way.  The forward/reverse switch is also back to where it was before - part of the same switch as the on/off.  Now everything is controlled by one thumb.  They added a multi-position handle that gives more choices that the previous one.  They also added a gear lock, so you can use it as a regular screwdriver if you run out of power; so there are no worries about stripping the drive gearing.  And, lastly, they got rid of that stupid light.  Then they provided an LED light by the bit holder so you could see where the screw was when working in tight, dark places.

The hard plastic case is sturdy. great drill for what i need it for.  from simple dry wall screws and hanging shelves . to fixing small things.  This does what I need it to do and has good power not hestitation.  I am very impressed with it.  course i knew it would be good as this is a good brand and best drill you can get a black and decker.  works as needed to.  does it is job very well i had say.

I have been a life long Skil brand customer and this drill meets my expectations for the brand.  The drill is powerful and well made it has all of the functionality that I would expect from a basic cordless drill.  The 1/2" chuck has solid smooth action and locks onto bits securely.  The kit came very well equipped with a 2ah battery, a small slide on charger, a good quality soft sided canvas tool bag with plenty of room for what was included with room to spare for an extra battery.  The kit also came with a magnetic bit tip holder, an assortment 32 bit tips, a tip/driver organizer and  3  good quality cobalt drill bits  1/4", 3/16" & 1/8" .  No it is not a DeWalt but for $50.

I was undecided whether to buy a new 18v battery for my old drill or purchase this one.  I decided to go for this since Li-Ion batteries do not build a memory and I am happy I did so far.  I am not using it for construction work, just to fix things around the house and run cable wires, Ethernet cables and the such, and the fact that this is so light really makes those tasks a breeze.  I purchased this to replace my 18v Black&Decker that after 8 years the battery just will not hold a charge any longer.  It does not tire you out when you have to hold it in an odd position or extended your arm.  The motor itself seems powerful enough to do all the tasks it needs to do without overheating when using it for an extended period of time.  I am very satisfied with my purchase now I just need to hope that this drill lasts as long as the predecessor, highly recommend.  As far as my ratings they are as follows: 5 STARS  I highly recommend this product and I will be purchasing it again myself when I need another one of these as well as I tell my friends and family about it if they need a similar product.  4 STARS  I recommend this product but I feel there is something that could be improved on to make it great.  It is surprisingly small, I was not expecting it to be this small and light weight.  When I recommend this product to someone I warn them of what I feel could be improved upon but normally would purchase again unless someone points me to something better.  3 STARS  I hesitate to recommend this product as I feel it is not the best option available.  Normally this means it either lacks features or is not durable so generally does not give you a great return on investment.  Normally I will search for something better before I purchase this again.  2 STARS  I do not recommend this product. Been using it all day drilling holes and screwing in screws and there is no sign of the battery not giving it enough juice to keep going at full speed.  Either the product is defective  so poor quality control , does not function as described or poor customer service.  1 STARS  I recommend staying away from this product.  Usually this means I am trying to avoid you the frustration of dealing with poor customer service for a product that is worthless in either function or quality.  If you find my reviews helpful to your purchase, please up-vote.  The battery lasts through every project and I typically only have to charge every week or so depending on use.

- Not an ideal set-up. This 2 tool combo is the ultimate time saver for doing race car chassis assembly and driveline work.  The fact that it came with 2 two hour reserve batteries and a charger vs.  only 1 battery with other products was a deciding factor for me.  Thumbs-Up for sure !.

Lesson learned. I struggled with what to buy my husband for a birthday gift as we were buying a house, and knew that power tools would be the thing! There are so many options and these did not have the big kit of attachments, so that was a deterrent.  I bought one that did and it was super disappointing. Nothing to dislike.  Having an interchangeable batter is also great! The circular saw cuts things, so that is a win.  Overall, I will take a power drill that does what it needs to and has a great battery life over a storage bag and drill bit kit.  Then I ordered this one!  It has great feel  not so heavy that it is prohibitive, but enough to give some umph behind screws sometimes  and the battery life allowed me to install all of our curtain rods and door locks on one charge with batteries life to spare.

Light weight but powerful, better than other brand I owned in the past.  Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking to build their tools collection.

I changed the setting from drill to 12, so I would not strip the screw head, and it drove the 12x1x7/16" screws effortlessly. does good as a drill or screwdriver.

But great value and way cheaper than most drivers in its class.  The size is perfect for screw intensive projects that also require getting into some tight spaces.  Add it to the collection if you dont have one and want to work a little smarter.  B & D 20 V battery life could be better, but that is all across the board.  Not specific to this tool.  Just what I needed.  The torque is great, very strong for its size.

But this combo is very satisfactory. Very good price and I shopped around for months for a reasonably-priced but reliable med duty drill/driver. I completed a huge project and only had to recharge battery 1 time Plenty of power.  I saw a similar B&D at big DIY retailer for nearly $90, so value is good.

By that I mean that the vibrations inherent in rotating a bit or driver at high speed do not make the drill feel like it is falling apart. It was easy to operate and like the various types of tools that was included.

Bought this thing 6 years ago as my first power tool and I have used it for everything from polishing wheels and cleaning headlights to mounting solar panels and drilling solid concrete for anchors.  It is performed every job I have asked it to, most of which were completely out of its league.  It is fallen 3 stories on to solid concrete and it is been used in rain more times than I can count.  I moved a year ago and it got lost somehow, now that I have found it, the battery will not take a charge- I assume that is just a result of the lithium battery sitting.  This thing owes me absolutely nothing and I am happy to buy another battery to get it going again.

The battery seemed to last well. . . . . smaller than others I have owned.  For general use. . but these kinds of things are not what you would call average use!! East to recharge with the adaptor provided. it is very good. . .  Great little drill/driver. . . . .  Have put the drill through its paces with a couple of one off jobs. . . and great to have this for the lighter jobs. . which did not come with the set  Second one was trying to clean up some patio paving stones. Purchased it when it was on sale for $28. 38.  Great for that price.  Costruction is typical Chinese made. Works like a charm love the light when you pull the trigger helps greatly when in a darker area with limited visibility.

According to the manual that means that It is done charging.  I took it off the charger to test it and it refuses to turn on.   Original review.  I thought maybe I had not actually seen the light turn off so I plugged it back in, again the light turned off after a few seconds.  I just got this today and I am very frustrated at the fact that I received this brand new and yet It is defective.  I was excited to start using this, I tried plugging it in to charge, light turned on for a few seconds and then turned off.  I want my money back!. UPDATE!  sent me a replacement after I contacted customer support, got the new one today and it works perfectly. As it has advertised.

This has been great for my general use around the house and even outside.  I would not plan on using it for heavy construction tasks but it works great for any household use.  Glad I got one.  With the charger in there too, I do not like them bumping up against one another when you pick up the box.

As with most Black and Decker products, this drill is great.  The battery lasts a long time, it has plenty of power, and is lightweight.  The built in light is not of great value, but who really depends on that anyway? It does not come with screwdriver type bits.  Overall, I am very happy with the quality, the size, the power, and again, I think this is a great household drill especially for taking care of the smaller duty jobs. This drill is especially nice for smaller, light weight projects such as hanging pictures, shelves, and any other light duty household projects.  - Not an ideal set-up.

Overall the best drill for its price range.  It has gobs of torque and should have no difficulty handling drills bigger than 3/8”. Very good quality, battery is easy to remove and replace.

It got dropped from a second-story balcony and I glued the case together and it kept working until recently when I misused the drill with a bulb-planting tool. I had a similar drill for several years.  Time for a new one.  I bought a new battery a few months ago and still does not have the torque it had the first year.

The price was very reasonable and I especially like the canvas bag that comes with it to carry the drill, bits, screws- everything I needed to work on the gutter covers.   delivered it the day after I ordered it and I got the gutters covered in record time! Tools like this are some of the many reasons I shop  and have for several years!!.  I did not bring a good drill with me and saw this kit.  The 10mm keyless chuck is easy to handle and works as good as more expensive drill/drivers. I was helping out my sister and her neighbor, installing gutter guards.

I had to put a step stool together the other day and my screwdriver died.  I might not use this a lot but I know its there!. I had a B&D electric screwdriver for a long time.  Do not have any major projects right now, but wanted this as a back up to my cordless heavy duty drill.

I have been using this gun to run 8-10” lags into yellow pine headers.  Of all the guns used this one worked the best and quickest.  Still have to let the gun and battery cool down after a few dozen lags.  I would recommend this one over more expensive gun I have been using!. I bought this for small projects around the apartment.

Love the led ! Easy to use and very affordable at $100! Comes with charger and two batteries and tote bag! You will love this drill!. I used the impact today to remove a bunch of dash screw, Granted the 7mm headed screws was no real work out for the impact, but it has nice trigger pull and can be held at low RPM.

The switch between hammer drill and regular clutched-chuck is simple and easy to accomplish. So I needed a quick solution for a hammer drill for something small but hammer-requiring.   The overall size of the unit is definitely on the girl-sized hand, but it is chunky enough to work for guys too.  The price was right and I figured "one use, one job, what the heck".  In fact, the overall slightly smaller tool size means that in very tight spaces  between joists, under houses, etc.   it might offer a slight advantage over your regular big boy drill driver.  But it is as good as anything you will get at Harbor Freight, and it will show up on your doorstep in about 1-2 days thanks to  .   The unit also features a bright white LED that is surprisingly effective, easily better than my green Ryobis  which are the cheap end of Semi-pro / DIY .  BEFORE I got it all dirty and banged up.   They also managed to work in a couple bit holders on the body of the thing, as well as a battery charge indicator.  The fit, finish, and balance of the device is again suprisingly good for a low end tool.   The unit has a multi-torque adjustable clutch that is surprisingly sensitive and offers a lot of clicks.   Of course I expect that the internal workings, bearings, armatures, chuck jaws, etc. , are not going to stand up to real jobsite pounding, but this one is never going to see that, because.  Now it is no Milwaukee, so do not get your hopes all twisted out of shape. .  It is now in girl-tool kit, and off limits to me.   IT IS THE OFFICIAL HOUSE DRILL now.  Off limits to me unless I am doing a HOUSE JOB.   I am very pleased to report that this drill is quite a bit nicer than I expected.    Five stars. .  So I grabbed this item of . .   It comes with one battery, which is of course proprietary, but it looks like that same 21V pattern used by a lot of these  featured devices from the far East.  NOT A MILWAUKEE or BOSCH, but recommended for weekend warriors, DIY wife or the guy who needs an occasional screw driven or hammer drill work, in without investing hundreds in pro-level stuff. .   The wife took a look at the unit and quickly informed me that this was now the "house drill driver". This drill seems on par with name brands.

Highly recommended for any crafter/DIY'er. As a novice crafter, I needed a drill for the various projects I am beginning.  The size and power of this drill is just right for the not so heavy duty uses I need it for.   It is a little smaller than typical drills, but it is light weight, it comes with a spectacular variety of bits, and is not as loud as a larger model drill.   I have used it for one craft so far and I am pleased with it.  Again, it is small size is not quite aimed at large scale or hefty projects, but it gets the job done and does not take up much space in my cabinet.

Like all the different bits that are included. I like everything about it.  It is sort of compact, holds a long battery life and easy to operate.  I have used it many times and it works great.

So I thought "Perhaps I should get another battery at some point". I have a few projects that I am going to need a cordless drill/driver for coming up.  Then the light went off in my head.  I am only going to use it around the house and for basic homeowner stuff.  A replacement battery from B&D costs at least $39.   Then I saw the "Deal of the Day" was on the Matrix model with the interchangeable heads. 99.  So I ordered one of those figuring I had just send back this one.  I had be a fool to send this one back.   One of the projects I am doing involves removing/replacing the lattice panels on my porch.  Let us see, for a DOLLAR I get a drill, a bit, and a charger.  Plus I got essentially free screwdriver and drill bits.  However I read primarily good reviews both here and other places.  I will keep it for a back-up or if anyone else I know needs a drill.  I also ordered the impact and circular saw heads and got another $10 off.   Just want to point out that ALL the Li-Ion Batteries are pricey no matter the brand. So when I saw this one on sale for $41 PLUS another $10 off if you bought some accessories to bring it up to $50 total I jumped at it.  If you buy two batteries separately the price is $129.  They are bolted on and there are 4'X8" panels with about 400 bolts total holding them to the frame.  I really do not know how the manufacturers do it quite frankly.  IT was a great deal also.  This came online and I ordered and arrived the next day !! As far as I can tell, most of the negative reviews were written by people who thought they were buying an automotive grade electric impact wrench not a carpentry impact driver.  Impact wrenches and drivers are not the same thing.   I read reviews for several other brands of impact driver including Ryobi, Rigid, Dewalt, etc.  This would be fine for light mechanical work on a bicycle, motorcycle, or smaller parts of a car or truck, but if you were using hand tools and you could not remove a bolt with a 3/8" ratchet, you probably should not be trying to remove it with this tool either.  There was not a higher instance of failure with any of the brands, judging from the reviews.   So far I have framed up two bedrooms, half a bathroom, and a small hallway with this tool.  I have not been disappointed.  The only time it falters is when the battery is getting weak. I was initially hesitant because several reviews described this impact driver as under powered or failure prone.  I will be rebuilding stairs and a deck in the spring.  This one is about half the cost of some other brands so I went with it.  If my review is still 5 stars after May of 2019 then it is still going strong.  All of them had a few bad reviews and most of them were for the same types of things.  Came with LOTS of drill bits and screwdriver options.   I have had it for about 2 months and have driven around 300 deck screws 3-1/4" long.

I bought a Black & Decker corded drill when I first bought my house many years ago. Bought this for my quick dyi's around the house and i love it.

The included carrying case gives a nice place to store everything and still has plenty of room to add more tools later.  It is a great value for the price, as it comes with a basic, brushed motor drill/driver, three drill bits, a small set of driver bits, a 2. 0Ah battery, a small charger, and a soft-sided carrying bag.  The drill itself works well and is great for any DIY type of person just starting out and not sure what to get.  Very easy to use and operate.  The one 2. 0Ah battery is large enough to last through any typical DIY repair around the home with ease.  This Denali set is both made by SKIL and compatible with all the other Denali and SKIL 20V tools, so there is a great selection of tools to expand to using the same battery platform as you grow.

Power is great compared to other brands. Just what I needed for multiple tasks.  Nice that it comes with two batteries. Good quality and good deal.

Does the job, easy to charge, good power.  Heavy duty, quite easy to hold and use and very efficient.

It is small, and maneuverable.  Not heavy, will not tire my arm out holding it.  I have fitted it with a beater, and it works great.  It also holds a charge well. So far I use it to mix quick pans of mud. Got it for my boyfriend for his tool box I hope he likes it can not wait to give it to him!.

I just got my first power tool! I am discovering my “inner carpenter” and I am having so much fun.   That said, I do not have any other power tool to compare this one with, but it is easy to charge and use plus lots of bits.  I got the bundle with the additional bits in a cheap plastic case.  And I like that the Black and Decker battery will fit in other B&D tools  for when I expand my power tool collection.  .   I am happy with my bundle purchase and I have gotten some projects finished already. While it can *technically* accomplish some drilling, it bogs down and gets stuck and likely would break the bits quickly. Lightweight but it has adequate power.

Very versatile and powerful. An overall all good quality drill and comes in a nice starter set.   The drill is constructed well, and the materials are better than other budget drill sets that I have owned/used in the past.  The drill does have open vents, which I found a bit surprising when I used it for the first time due to the spark of the brush motor.  There is a small electrical current and some small sparking visible, this is normal.  However, excessive sparking and the smell of burning is a sign of a failing drill and should be immediately discarded/replaced.   The torque power of the drill is good for drilling into soft wood, which is used for almost every application of construction and carpeting material.  In other words, I was able to drill an anchor screw into a 2x4 through my drywall for a picture frame.  I do not know how effective this will be at drilling through metal or masonry, since I do not have the drill bits for such tasks.   The includes accessories that come with the drill are a set of drill bits, which are forged well and more resilient than that of other budget sets.  A single battery and its charger, which the battery has a decent charge life, and the charger is more unique looking than other budget sets.   Overall, this drill set is a good buy for someone who wants an affordable cordless drill for around the house tasks and maybe some light carpentry work.

I take care of my tools at home and work, so this review will not cover abuses like letting the motor get infiltrated with metal grinding dust, storing the battery at 0% charge for long periods, or trying to use it like an impact wrench. INITIAL IMPRESSION  The chucks on regular drills are poorly suited for driver bits.  Even if the bit spins in the chuck just once, damage is done.   Overall it is a great first impression.   The Black   Decker BDCI20C 20V MAX Lithium Impact Driver met my needs on paper.   Update 1: This has plenty of power, but like any impact driver with a small battery, it fades on long screws due to voltage sag.  Low cost off brand high capacity battery replacements are available, which of course provides longer life, and also greater capacity to drive difficult screws as one popular Youtuber found, and provides greater assurance of being able to keep this tool powered for many years to come.   The balance with the 1.  If this happens, charge the battery back up, or get a larger battery because they are more resistant to voltage sag.  Even though this tool is capable of variable speed, the manual recommends using full speed to prolong tool life.  On Youtube check out a video by Charlie DIYte titled "Difference between Drill Drivers & Impact Drivers" starting at 9:45.  The chuck is about 1 inch deep and is not magnetic, and requires bits with large U slots rather than the kind that has a tiny groove that barely knicks the corners.   This will primarily be used on my cars, motorcycle, bikes, around the house and maker creations.  So far I have used mine to replace an oil pan and reinforce some decking with 2 inch screws.  It is half the price of the popular contractor brands, but the torque and bpm's is comparable.  It is about to get a lot more use.  There is a small LED above the trigger, and a magnet on top of the drill for holding bits.  To prevent wear on my drills and save time, I had to get an impact driver. I had to replace another 20  year old drill cause the battery stopped charging.  Decided on this one and super pleased.  Much smaller size than my other drill yet just as powerful.  Its not professional grade but for the price its more than enough.

One of the complaints was that it did not drill very well ? . ADDENDUM: 8/6/2018.  It most definitely is NOT a drill.  It does not claim to be a drill so I was surprised at the reviewers expectations.  It performed flawlessly through each day without needing a recharge and, held torque and speed the whole time.  Another was that it did not have much torque or power.  This is unbeatable for the money.  That is also true but, that is why it has a lock setting for breaking loose and snugging up the screws by hand.  The very big advantage it gives is speed and continuity.  OK; it is definitely a light duty tool but, that is expected.  That is, not needing to re-position your hand every quarter turn and possibly loosing contact with the screw head and dropping the screw because you were using your other hand to hold the pieces in position etc. , etc.  I just had to come back and up this to 5 stars; 6 if I could! The more I use it, the more I like it.   There were also complaints about the battery not holding a charge or, in a couple cases, not charging at all.  To be honest, I was surprised at just how well it performed.  I would suspect one of two things here.  One is that the reviewer did not read the instructions and fully charge it properly the first time and, the other is they just got a defective product.  After all it is $20.  That is why  has a great return/exchange policy.  I refinished my kitchen cabinets and used this on all of the hinges - perhaps 40 hinges X 6 screws each ? .  I have had to use it unfortunately and all was made right.   The one complaint I completely agree with, and the reason for only 4 stars, is the location of the power switch and the awkward way it operates. 00 not $120.  However, this is not a big problem to overcome.  But, after a couple of 4 and 5 star reviews, I decided to try it out.   In short; it is what it is and, there is no reason to fault it for not being a full size drill/driver tool.  If you want to drill and drive torque and power, get a rechargeable hand drill, not a cordless screwdriver.  END OF UPDATE I read some of the reviews before I bought this, especially the 1 and 2 star reviews..

Purchased this drill set as a Christmas present November 2022.  The drill no longer works.  I will have to really be careful with this thing and predict I will be buying a diff case or bag to hold everything before long.

I have several of this same drill by Black and Decker.  The battery system is very convenient and the batteries charge fast.  I found that if I shop I can find combos of equipment and batteries together that are the best way to go.  The batteries by themselves are really pricey, but with an additional tool they are reasonable.  Having a few batteries is a good idea. I have been using this gun to run 8-10” lags into yellow pine headers.

Best impact driver for the money, hands down! I have used all of the brands from super cheap to "really".  That is my reaction to ridiculously priced tools.  All are a fantastic value for the $$$.  This impact is a furious little monster with a nice variable trigger, it is not just On/Off like most of the cheaper tools.  I was not expecting that and the led light is definately workable.  The chargers are the battery clip style as opposed to the drop in.  It was also delivered next day for free.  The grip is definately a bit on the agressive side and when you use this you will see why.  You will be surprised at how much torque this produces, seriously.  Super awesome experience for me!. . . I replaced my 20yo Versa Pak screwdriver with this one.  I am all in.  This gives us consumers better pricing with the same functonality.

This drill is much better than the 15 year old B&D drill it replaced.  It is smaller, lighter and more powerful.  As an added bonus it uses the same size battery that I already have for my B&D weed trimmer and leak blower - so now I have 5 of those batteries and 3 chargers.  There is always a charged battery available.  The old B&D drill still worked great, but the batteries no longer charged and I could only find knock-off replacement batteries that I did not trust. Very good brand Need No very My favorite brand.

I gave this to my husband after his tools were stolen. ?This drill is very lightweight and easy to operate! I have smaller hands and this fits me perfectly! The only thing I wish it had was some kind of case to keep everything together.

Pretty robust and wonderful tool.  Has all the gadgets in it for drilling.  Granted, mine is two years old, and does not include the sewn bag that seems to be in the picture nowadays.

My wife says: I was looking for a drill to keep in my craft room so that I would not have to bother my husband every time I needed to do a small job.  This is perfect -not too big for my small hands -not to heavy for my aging muscles  although I do have some trouble changing the screw/drill/hammer mode , supplied with a basic set of drill bits and drivers and capable of doing anything I can imagine wanting to do.  Two batteries come with, though it seems to run efficiently and one is more than enough for my projects.

It even motivated him to do several needed repairs…. This was purchased for my husband and he says has much, much more powerful than his old one. I love that it works for my needs and it light up.

I replaced it with this slimmer and more powerful version. Black and decker is not the best brand by far.  But paying 50$ for an impact driver, battery and charger is hard to beat.  It drives much slower than my DeWalt.  It is pretty light.  Battery life is ok, I drove around 150 screws before I had to switch out.  The chuck is aggravating, you have to use both hands to change bits.  It heats up a little bit with prolonged use.  But it never gave up.  I hung 200 drywall boards before buying a DeWalt for the faster speed.  Now I use it for misc stuff around the house.  Highly recommend.

Overall the best drill for its price range. Drill is smaller than expected, but that is definitely a good thing. ! I needed to buy my own drill for around the house, but did not want to drop $150! This works like a drill should, comes with a goof variety of attachments, battery life is great so far, would definitely recommend!.  If you are gonna use a drill for hours at a time corded is the way to go  in case someone did not know . For under $70 this is a great deal.

I had to purchase a heavier drill for some of the serious stuff but if you are doing light DIY stuff this is a must have.  Its made for light duty drilling but i have pushed it way beyond that and its performed, and lasted, way better than expected.  Very pleased.  So is it a heavy duty drill? Nope.   PS my main use for this at the beginning was a total basement renovation and again, asked way more of this drill than should reasonably be expected at this price point.  I think i paid $30 for it when i bought it and its worth every red cent of that.  I had buy it again for $40-$50 for sure.  The thing smells smoked every time i use it now but it has performed well and continues to.  I have gotten it to the point of pretty much smoking hot drilling 1/2" holes with aggressive bits through 2x4's for electrical wiring and time and time again it just does the job even though i know im pushing it way past what it is designed for.  Did it perform above what it was supposed to do? Absolutely.  Works well for a female gardener like me.  Also, its dropped off my ladder a ton of times onto concrete and still survives.

Heavy duty, quite easy to hold and use and very efficient.  Comes with additional battery hence no break in work. Superb quality.  I thought that  would only put their name on products they tested and judged to be good, and sure enough, they backed a winner with this Denali.

I was very intimidated by the plethora of drills online but I knew that I needed something simple and manageable for myself. So far this little gem is working well.  It even arrived charged!.

When I first bought this drill over a year ago, I did not realize I had be using is almost daily.  If I had, I probably would have opted for a more "serious" drill. that is expected though.  Great little drill for the price.  I seriously did not expect this drill to be able to do everything I made it do.  I really just did not think it would do all that, until I tried. . .  The only thing that it had a problem with is using aggressive Speedbor bits to drill through cedar wood. .  Still, bang for the buck, this drill is remarkably impressive.  After so long, the batteries  I have two that I bounce between  are still holding their charges well, although maybe not quite as well as when they were new. and for so long.  But, I have absolutely no complaints.  Great product. no problem at all.  It did not like that at all, but then my friend's DeWalt did not either  although it did perform better . .  Over the course of 16 months, I have thrown everything at it, including drilling holes through thick angle iron and putting 6-inch Torx wood screws through cedar and long-leaf pine columns without drilling pre-holes. Light weight and fast charging..

I have wanted one of these for a long time. I love the case it comes with, and I used it to drill small holes in a flower pot.  works great.  I am 73 years old and if I can use this then so can anyone else.  It is made really nice.  Black and Decker makes great tools I think.  I hope it lasts long.  You never know when you are going to need some holes made.  It comes with so many drill bits too. It is a Christmas gift so it will not get used till then.

I always had to use a manual screwdriver to finish the job with those 3. 6 v tools.  This is a 12 volt and it has a lot more power to finish the job all by itself. I had those old Craftsman cordless screw drivers that you could use it like a long tool or bend it at the center and use it like a gun.  The battery lasts through every project and I typically only have to charge every week or so depending on use.

Two speed and clutch for driving things.  Also has drill bits and screwdriver bits with it.  I own a Bosch and a Milwaukee.  This one is a nice light weight and seems like a quality piece for the price. The drill is just what I expected.  Do I expect it to be as tough as my others…no but for everyday use very pleased. My husband really likes this type of cordless drill.

I have several Black & Decker tools weed wackers drills sawzalls and all battery powered. I can say this is worth the money.  I had Craftsman and also has Roybi.  It performed much better than Craftsman and almost identical to Roybi's.  Compared to so-called "brand name" this is hands down better than others.  So, many small goodies included with it also.

However if you want to use drill bits, you may want to purchase a set that work with quick release when you buy this. Works great.  Good for those jobs that need the extra power a regular driver does not give you. Best Cordless Drill I ever purchased.  Found the quick release adapters at my local hardware store, so I can use it with my existing tools.

Having two and with each having its specific function helps out on their effectiveness and longevity. Why hire an expensive worker, when you can make your elderlies do it themselves? This also saves you from them calling you over to do things for them, unless you are just full of dog poo luck that after you gift them this present, they call you over to do things for them using these drills.  Talk about biting the hand that feeds, sucks to be you.   Anyways, hopefully you are not that unlucky, or that your elderlies are that ungrateful, cuz these tools are great, and outside of themselves being total klutzies and drilling themselves in the hands, these are really easy to use, and very effective.   I gave these to my folks as within the past several years I have been busy overseas, and have seen the shockingly steep physical decline of my Pa.  He used to be the rock of our family, he was the jack of all trades who would do everything in the house.  All the installations, deep cleanings, fixings, and fixer-uppers.  It was all him.  Overall, a good product and a good deal.  Since I was not able to regular see him, it was poignant to see his decline over the past few years.  So this drill set was a small gift for those stubborn times when he feel like he can still do something himself.   But from the looks of it, these drills might last a bit longer.  Physically, they are very sturdy, made of good quality.  I have not been able to test it myself since I am not there, so these are his recountings.  He does not use it much - only for times when he can not do something simple with a manual screwdriver.  But for the few times that he has used it, he likes them a lot.  The pre-drill saves a lot of time, and allows him to do a few projects he normally would not have thought of doing to the concrete wall with manual tools.  The power is good, able to drill holes each time without fuss. The battery life is not very long and I would not recommend it for tougher drill jobs, but it did do well for small task around the house.  He has never had a project where he was lacking something, so I feel these drills are a good beginner's set for your loved ones.  I know there are more extensive sets out there, but that is not my need.  Something like this, to drill a simple small hole, and then to insert something  usually just a screwd  in the hole, is the gist of what he does  and hence my existence .   The kit comes with 2 batteries so you can use both drills at the same time.  It would suck if you bought a combo set and all they gave you was one battery and you had to switch back and forth.   Anyways, in a nutshell, these drills were exactly what I was looking for for my folks, and the price is good - a good deal for two drills, since I saw some out there that cost just as much for one drill.  I would help when I can, but for the most part since he was  and still is  very particular in his work, I only aided when I did not get in the way.  The included drill bits and screwdriver bits are very useful.

Not too heavy.  I love having my own drill and not having to hunt the monster that is made for construction or commercial use.  My older one just would not hold a charge and I had it well over 10 years.  Hope this one lasts as long!. Nice affordable cordless drill; 12 volt, 21 torrque adjustment which the average handyman/woman about the house probably will not need but it gives you something to chat about with your neighbour over the fence.

Come with zero drill bits.  That was shocking. Good product. We are landlords and so many times we do work at tenants places and even though we are fixing something for them.

Cons: The case latches arent very sturdy and the inside is completely hollow except for some folded packing cardboard which Im leaving inside to keep the drill from sliding around.  Still a good price and quality drill but the case is junk.  Very nice.  I will have to really be careful with this thing and predict I will be buying a diff case or bag to hold everything before long. . . .  One of the main reasons I picked this model is it comes with a case and bits, more on this below. In fact, since the lithium battery costs more than the entire drill kit, you should buy two. It was easy to operate and like the various types of tools that was included. Compact in size, light in weight, powerful enough for any household job you might have, for the price you just have to buy this.

I finally decided to buy a legit power drill and wow I am impressed with this one.  I am not usually handy, but I had to build a furniture set and this power tool made it a breeze.  It is very high quality. I like this even more than my 20 year old corded B&D drill that still works fine.

99 Black Friday specials from years ago all came with cheap cases.  Guess I will re-purpose one of those.  Just the other day, I was taking the cover off my mower's engine and this backed out the screws just like it had full power.   I just can not help but feel that this will all come crashing down, the drill will break and the battery will not charge.  I just can not wrap my head around the fact that the driver I paid a little over fifty bucks for is this good.   But seriously though, if you are going to spend a few dollars for a drill/driver, but do not want to spend over a hundred for a higher quality name brand, this is a fantastic option.   As for the actual cons, well. . the chuck is a bit finicky, as I will sometimes tighten down on it as hard as I can and soon after will see the bit spinning around loosely.  Less than this and it will not have the power, more and it may be a waste for any non-professionals who just want something for their around-the-house needs.  And I am a little concerned with how the wires look crammed in around the motor  you can see them through the vent holes in the back .  Also, it did not come with a case. . . my $19. I will going to try and update this a year or so later, as I can not believe this driver is this good.  I have spent thirty at Harbor Freight and those things died within a few years, with almost no use. Light weight, powerful enough for every day jobs. .  Also, the position of the light is more a gimmick than a function, as when you go to use it the chuck obscures the light and you can not see the point where the bit meets the wall.

It is a good size drill and very handy.  Charge last good.  It comes with a single screw bit attachment that is attached by pulling back the sleeve and releasing it to lock it on the bit.

Used for hanging cameras and small wall decor. This what you call Big Pressure. Works great for small projects.

MIND BLOWN! I purchased this one by Black & Decker and with just a moment of learning the speed/pressure to pull the trigger, I put those stubborn screws in with no problem at all! Why have I been doing things the hard way for so long!?. This is my second of these drills.  I tried everything I could think of and was only damaging the screws.  I decided someone on the internet must have a trick to get stubborn screws in and found a video demonstrating an "impact driver". I have been using a power drill my whole life  age 35  and NEVER knew that such a thing as an "Impact Driver" even existed, until the other day when I was trying to mount a few very large screws into a wall-stud and could not get the screw even half way in.

It charges in almost next to no time and has a selection of bits that will pretty much work with everything.  The only thing I am not sure about is masonry but that is an attempt for another day.  All in all I am more than happy with this!. Very very happy with this! The drill is well made and could probably be worth more than it is  price.  I was struggling with the little hand tools that came with the furniture, but this thing screwed everything in nice and tight.

I needed to drill holes through a metal beam behind my car's bumper to screw on mounts for musical horns.  which by the way, takes a LONG time to do, upwards of 3-4hrs.  Well, it got fully charged, and boom, huge difference. .  Also, you have to make sure you are using the right drill bit. . . .  there is three types: The multi-purpose drill  which is what you should use for metal , the masonry bit, and the carpenter's bit  forgot the name . Okay, this drill is well worth the acclamation it currently has.  I switched to the appropriate drillbit, and. .  but. .  in a big facepalm moment, realized I had the drill spinning in the UNSCREW direction.  So first off, I made sure the battery was fully charged.  Be careful, since it is really easy to accidentally press down the button that switches the spin to reverse .  So, now, with:  1. .  Full battery 2.  Appropriate drill bit 3.  I was thinking buying this was a bad idea.  Making sure the spin is set to FORWARD  I was able to drill a hole through 1/6" cast iron in less than a minute.  And yes, like others have mentioned, this is not a heavy duty drill, but keep in mind heavy duty drills run at the very least $150, while this one was half the price with drillbits included.  I did not give up.  In conclusion, this is a purchase I certainly do not regret making.  Hooray!.  At first, this little drill started to sweat.  I switching the drill speed setting while the drill trigger was pulled and spinning, and that seemed to "catch" the chuck, and I have not had an issue since.

No need to change bits on these if you have two.  I like them for what I do and I do a lot of home remodeling and farm work.  They work great and the batteries last long.  I bought extra batteries as well. I was about to move and I knew that I would a power drill.

This is affordable and just what we need. I never had another drill to compare it to but I love it.  I have used it to assemble some things and to put holes in some flower pots.  Worked great.

Recharges quickly, lasts long for us.  We do not use it on an everyday basis, so it is perfect!.  This works perfectly.  I worked the first one to death over a 5 year period. My husband wanted a smaller rechargeable screwdriver for smaller places and angles.

I looked around  for other Black and Decker stuff that uses 20v batteries and it looks like a ton of other power tools and garden tools can work off the same battery.  I am definitely going to check out more of the 20v garden tools for my yard this spring! So far after a month of using this drill around the house I have been very pleased because it has been able to do everything I have needed to do.  We just moved into our house last fall and it feels like my "honey do" list is always growing, plus I like keeping a drill in the house and one in the garage for whenever I need to tighten a screw on a door/cabinet/hinge/furniture pieces or hang stuff on the wall.  Surprising too how much power it has for drilling holes in almost anything - I have used it for drilling into the wall to hang a big mirror above the fireplace for my wife, drill holes and then used it to drive the screws in the plastic anchors for hanging a curtain rod above the window on the 2nd floor hallway at home, drilled out holes in a 2x4 to fit a bolt through, drilled through a cookie sheet to help build a project for my son at school and it seems like it will drill just about everything I need it to do.  If you need a drill for your projects at home I highly recommend this one.  That was great because I wanted to use it right away. Great drill and I love that it came with the drill bits and all those screw driving bits for my projects around the house. The tools are easy to learn and are powerful.  Charged pretty quick right after I got it, did not have to charge it over night like my old 18v drill.

It is not as powerful as others but fine for home use glad I bought it. Did not work at all. replacement works very well.

Worked great for lock bolt holes. Set on 2 to start which is lowest not 1. Very handy plenty of power and compact.  Read the directions.

The drill works great and is powerful! The different attachments are great too and I love that it comes with a bag to hold everything! Idk what other people are saying abiut the bag being cheap? It is not the best but it is sturdy and holds all the tools and some extra tools I have.  I am in love with this set, and I live the quality.

I love my grill it is not heavy it is just right for me.   I got about 40 minutes of continuous use out of it.

It holds a good charge and love the light that brightens up the area your working on.  It comes with a tool bag big enough for other stuff as well.  Bag is made well, sturdy.  This is a good drill to use around the home, possible even more involved projects.  Do not have any major projects right now, but wanted this as a back up to my cordless heavy duty drill. it will click.

Extra drill bits accompanying the drill motor are great for your DIY projects too. This B&D portable drill motor is sufficient for most DIY projects. Easy to use.  It lacks a torque setting but has sufficient variable speed settings.

Love that the area for the attachments is sectioned and there is plenty of room to add more.  Even in the part where the drill itself sits has plenty of room for other things, like a small hammer or pair of pliers.  I cannot tell you how many times I have gone to this since I have gotten it.  In fact I have come up with some new projects I will be getting on soon.  Over all my opinion is the five stars I am giving it are not enough.  The battery charge is simple and my unit is always ready when I do need it.  Love Love Love it.  For you gals  of which I am one  it is not too heavy to use. Recently, I helped my son replace deck boards on his deck.  I have had a new 20V Black and Decker drill for a year, which works great.  He had the B&D drill plus the impact driver.  It became apparent very quickly that the impact driver worked better than the drill for removing old screws and setting new ones.  I ordered this driver.  Performance thus far has been flawless.  Very pleased.

I am a 67-year-old woman. I am very pleased with this drill.  The battery life is exceptional and it is very easy to handle. .  I do not know what I did without it.  It has certainly simplified moving into a new place.

Works well, have not ran into a job it can not do.  I have used this thing for hours at a time, might get a little hot when used excessively which I tend to do but she is worth it.  Spend the money for Milwaukee drill cheap butt ! For the money a great drill.

If you are gonna use a drill for hours at a time corded is the way to go  in case someone did not know . As expected, and was able to use because batteries had enough charge out of box.  Love it for small projects around the house.

I was not sure what to expect from this  Branded item, but WOW was I pleasantly surprised! I had stack this up with models that cost twice as much or more. Got for my husband and he absolutely loves it!!! He likes the light that helps when using in low lit areas and is extremely impressed with how powerful it is.

But needing a cord is very limiting so this allows me to do so many more things.  It has enough power for anything I need to do around the house & goes anywhere I need it. I bought a Black & Decker corded drill when I first bought my house many years ago. This is a great set for the price not for commercial work but great for around the house projects.

I can carry all my needed drill bits, screw tips, & sockets as well as extensions and extra batteries.  Very happy with this kit. Bought this kit to upgrade my older 18V drill kit and I like it alot! I really like the heavy duty carry bag included with this set.  Bought this for specifically that purpose and it took bolt out on first try! Have used it to remove some wood screws imbedded into wood and backed them right out.

Can not comment on how it compares to other impact drivers. Bought this since I have 8 B&D 20v batteries already.  This is great, I have used this as a masonry drill, and assemble a kids playset.  I quickly noticed they felt like a toy, with that being said I thought right away it was a mistake.  Compared to a B&D drill/driver this is great.

I have never used a drill with the lithium battery, and it is so much nicer than the old styles. I have an old cordless drill that I needed to charge every time I used it because the battery is shot.  It keeps its power until the very end.  I did not need anything fancy, just for household use.  This one is good til the last drop.  Taking things apart, putting things back together, building things, installing things, drilling holes.  Though the trade off is not knowing how much longer you have on the battery.  I have used this thing more already than I used my other drills in 10 years.  It is good and then all of a sudden, it is dead.  I am so glad I bought it.  You can get a few more short bursts out of it, but if you are drilling, might want to use those to back out or you might be leaving your drill bit in your project for a little while.  I am also lazy.   Yes, I am speaking from experience.  I admit, the torque is not as strong as I was hoping for, but it really has not been an issue.   The battery also seems to last for quite awhile.  I also love the battery.  I do not have to charge it for each project by any means.  That being said, we moved, and this thing has been in use a LOT already.  And I love how it can sit for extended periods of time without the battery draining.  I would say I have used it almost every day for the last three months.  Again, we are talking no patience here, so I would not be happy to start a project with a dead drill.  I hated having to tote around an extension cord with the corded drill and fighting with the stupid cord every time I did not have the patience to wait for the old cordless.  It is also much lighter than my old cordless, and it has good balance.  This drill costed just a teeny bit more than a new battery.  SO glad I ordered it a few days before our move.  I have no patience, so waiting for the old drill to charge was torture.  I love this thing. . .  I love the light when the trigger is pulled. ?Good points 1-strong 2-lightweight 3-has led 4-have different head and extended head too 5-good quality  Bad points 1-include one battery and do not have back up batteries.

The chuck is twist to tighten , no chuck key needed. This is the cheapest drill I have ever owned but I did not want to spend hundreds when my prior on died.  It feels cheap but it got everything done I have thrown at it so far! I put up a ballet bar, 20 shades, some furniture, a large 3 tiered shelf, mounted a TV and a few other small things and the battery has not even run out yet.  It had some trouble with one stud but other than that it is done well.

A new chuck, had we gotten the damaged one off would cost 1/4 of what replacing the entire drill did. I bought this for craftily and it is amazing! So pleased with it.

I was looking for an affordable drill to do basic house maintenance and DIY projects and this fit the bill nicely. Practically brand new only thing missing is the box.  Owners manual included with tool.  Just what I needed.  Nothing else!.

I decided to replace both of them with a? Amerock TEN53005-G10 Door Knob, Satin Nickel, 1-1/4-Inch, 10-Pack .  After drilling a hole in each drawer and screwing in the knob, the stand was useful again.  It is got everything I need for fix-its around the apartment, except a storage case.   I purchased this drill back in December.  It either came partially charged, or I charged it once.  One of the handles had become lost, so it could not be easily pulled out.  8 months later, the batteries are still good! I would say energy retention is outstanding! Lithium-ion exhibits low self-discharge compared to NiCad and stores energy for much longer.   The keyless universal chuck means it can take drill bits of other sizes that came with other drills in my tool box.  The back of the drill also has a notch for holding a second head. I love this drill set.  This is useful when changing between 2 frequently used bits.   Overall, a very happy buy.  It is compact and replaces a bulkier Black & Decker XD1200K that I owned for several years.  It is a high-quality drill and handy to have around the house for small repairs and drilling.  I only wish this set came with a carrying case for keeping all the parts together.  I used it just last week to fix a little drawer stand in my kitchen.  If you need a case, consider? It is very high quality. I thought just getting an inexpensive model would suffice, but my first was DOA, so I paid a bit extra for this one.  I thought that  would only put their name on products they tested and judged to be good, and sure enough, they backed a winner with this Denali.

Bought one for myself, got tired of asking husband to help me hang things.  Bought 2 more for my grandsons.  I was very intimidated by the plethora of drills online but I knew that I needed something simple and manageable for myself.

I also like that this bag has outside pockets for little things like bits!. Light weight.  Great product.  Drilled into brickwork effortlessly.  I was looking for a drill to do the work and purchasing batteries separately is a headache for me, but this one comes with its battery as well. Used straight out of box.

But be careful. ?Drill has a nice fit for light-duty work.  The thing I did not like is it comes with only one battery.  Should handle some heavy duty.  But my previous drill bought at Home Depot in 2010 could barely make its drill bits turn at all, much less make a hole or turn a screw.

One problem, Husband does not need another cordless drill. This set was on sale for Fathers Day.  However, it seems whenever I want to use his drill/screwdriver, I can not find where he put it last.  SO I BOUGHT IT FOR MYSELF! This a good drill, I have used it recently with the 1. 5 amp Royobi battery to place eight blinds throughout my house and got the job done fairly quickly….  It is fallen 3 stories on to solid concrete and it is been used in rain more times than I can count.

But having the light, which my old one did not, makes this one much better and worth getting used to the differences in forward/reverse buttons I would definitely buy this again!. . Changing from forward to reverse on the new drill is slightly different than my old one  which I had and used and abused for about 10 years.

I like that it comes with the set of bits and zipper bag so I can keep everything together. Good cordless drill /Screwdriver.  It is powerful. Purchased this kit as a "house warming" gift for my step son and girlfriend.  the kit included the hammer drill also.  I know they will provide decades of use for hin.  The excited photo he sent upon its receipt was priceless, but I will not post it here, as not to embarras him.

I have maybe charged the device a dozen times since getting it.  I was on a job yesterday, and was unscrewing a hex key bolt  basically a bit that fits allen wrench sockets  on a server rack.  Yeah. .  I hit the button to give it some juice, and then a snap.  Now the rotary part, the most important part of the driver, does not turn anymore.  Was not even working it that hard.   It is a nice idea to have something USB rechargeable, but this did not last even a year.  The  listing describes a two-year limited warranty. . .  however, putting in a warranty claim is not possible through their website forms.   ?ART 1: ***BUYER BEWARE!!!*** Aug 21 of 2022 to June 1 2023.  Any repair this device faces is considered "factory overhaul" category, which means there is no repair covered.   ?ART 2: I contacted a Black-Decker through the email form on their website.  I gave them the invoice from  as an attachment.  A representative reached out by email and initiated a replacement.   ?ART 3: I do not know what happened, but I ended up with a delivery of 3 different boxes, each containing a replacement driver. Please read, in parts.  Now I have one for home and one to use at job sites.   Considering that I now have three new drivers instead of one dead driver, I think I can safely bump this up to five stars.  It seems they do not repair these units; they just replace them. .  So when I seen this small one, I thought it would be just right for my needs.

Very handy plenty of power and compact. Drill bits break very easily and the screw bits strip too easy on first project the drill bit broke on a 1 1/2” piece of wood and the battery was charged fully and I only worked with 4 pieces of wood 1 1:2” in thickness and the screw bits stripped after 3 screws, I suggest trying this product as soon as you get it because I waited a few weeks too long now I am stuck with it and out of $50. 00 to say I am very disappointed is putting it moldy I was so excited to start some new crafts with my new drill tool to have finished before I actually started but it is a I learned my lesson and try product as as possible or your screwed!!!!.

This cordless power drill/driver is great if you want an easy to use; good-value-for-money; no gimmicks or overly complicated faff, and comfortable and durable driver for all of your home DIY tasks from basic tasks to drilling into brickwork.  Highly recommend. .   The proprietary battery charges by docking it into the included charging station, and then simply pushes/slides into the drill, and removal simply requires 'pinching' the red sections on the grip/handle  I do wish it was just a switch/latch, but I am not overly bothered as it is still easy for me to use .   There is a wide range of bits/ends included in the set, so unless your hardware/job requires pretty unconventional tools, chances are you will have the tools for the job included.

It is my first drill.  I like the cordless option and lighted end which allows you to get a better view in darker spots. I have small hands and this was easy for me to use. nice light duty drill, gets the job done for small projects and everyday use.

First it is lightweight.  I have had drills which are in the same class but weigh considerably more.  If you are drilling one hole, it does not matter.  Holding a heavy drill for an extended period of time can be rather tiring. If you are a homeowner, having a good cordless drill is a real necessity.   I also like the working time you get from the rechargeable battery.  I have yet to do any job with this drill where I ran out of battery life.  Plus, this battery is interchangeable with other 20V Black and Decker batteries.   This drill is quite powerful.  There seems to be a never-ending list of things which need repairing, most of which involve some function which is much easier with the help of a good drill.  It has enough power to drill through tough wood.  It has 11 different clutch settings, so can select the proper setting for your job.   It has an LED light which is directed to light up the area of activity of the drill.   It has a variable speed trigger, good for using as an electric screwdriver.   There are a few reasons I like the Black and Decker 20V cordless drill.  You can easily switch rotation from drilling in/driving screws in to removing.   All in all, a small but powerful drill.  my previous black and decker drill lasted 20 years.

It lacks some features of more expensive units, like dual speed ranges and a higher number of clutch positions, but the gear ratio provided seems like a nice compromise between speed and torque. I bought this as a Warehouse Deal, in the original box with a couple of scuffs, for $30 with free 2 day  shipping.  Overall, it is compact and lightweight, and a perfect fit for the bench work I do.  The battery charger design is a bit less than optimum, somewhat cheaply made and requiring 2 hands to connect the battery to it, again not a big deal but a "drop in" charger is a better design and my personal preference. 6V unit, which has served me well for quite a few years now with no failures.  I honestly had not planned to buy a second drill driver for my bench, but at the price I could not pass it up and it allows me to have 2 drivers set up for different uses, and thus saves time by minimizing bit changes.  My 5 star rating is based on ease of use, build quality, and power versus size and weight, and the very low price paid for a tool that will be used daily for years to come.  The lithium ion battery is a vast improvement over the older NiCad technology, lightweight and powerful, and very forgiving of less than attentive battery charging habits like leaving it partially discharged between uses.  I am very pleased with it thus far as an "entry level" drill driver; it is just what I needed.  It also bears mentioning that the compact size and lighter weight make it a great fit for female users, or anyone who wants good performance from a very compact and easy to handle, yet quite powerful, drill driver.  My use is on my workbench for various drilling, brushing and cleaning jobs, as well as driving small fasteners while using the clutch.   Update 05JUL22: I have had this drill driver for about 5. 5 years now, and thought that updating this review would be appropriate.  Very powerful and torquey for it is size and price.  I use it several times a week typically, so it has accrued a lot of hours and handling.  Still works like new, even the clutch which sees a lot of adjustment for various driving jobs.  It is a second drill driver to supplement my Hitachi 10.  Battery still holds a charge like it did when new.  The compact size and light weight of this tool really make it shine for day-to-day light duty work.  The clutch is OK and does the job quite well; the chuck is of decent quality too.  For the price paid I can not gripe about a missing low speed / high torque setting, but if there is anything missing it would be that.  I expect several more years of use out of this drill based on its current condition.  My first impression of the unit is that it is certainly not commercial grade, but it is performance is impressive thus far.  I wish every tool I own gave me this much value for the price paid.  Will buy another if this one ever wears out or fails.  It has a slight lag between trigger pull and motor start that takes a little getting used to, but it is a fraction of a second and not a big deal or time waster.  The Hitachi I mentioned earlier in this review  Model DS10DFL  has suffered a broken clutch detent spring at about 10 years old, and while waiting for parts this Black and Decker is substituting nicely.  Definitely a worthy purchase.

No diskikes; my hubby is very impressed with the lightness of drill along with the lite, which his old HEAVY drill did not have..

This power drill feels great in the hand.  My hubby's hands are big and he enjoys this drill.  Used for installing gates on a chaining fence and it has good torque.  It has good battery life of around five and a half hours of continuous use.  I love that the way to charge the battery is to plug a cord directly into the battery and not a separate charger.  It has a nice weight to it, it is not too heavy but to light either.  It holds the bits well in the chuck.  I like that it had a belt clip.  This drill has nice power behind it.

The light weight reduced fatigue. Never had a problem and has a great battery life. T;his was a gift for my wife that works on aircraft.

Have owned several BD elec screwdrivers over the years. Reasonably priced, well made, great torque, easy to use.  You do not need an expensive ES to get the job done. Well worth the money, I am really Impressed and so are my co-workers.  It performed flawlessly through each day without needing a recharge and, held torque and speed the whole time.  Co-workers have the more expensive Dewalts, Milwaukies and they are constantly charging the batteries. I use these at work on a daily basis and the battery life is amazing.

So far so great… so cheap for a really great drill. This drill driver is great for small home repairs and assembly.  Charges really fast and I like that it has an over heat shut off to protect the drill.

Batteries last a long time and it does not take very long to recharge. Bought it to use around the house and have not been disappointed, everything I have needed for its done with ease.  Works great for home projects. I like this much better than I thought I would.

Before this drill i was twisting endlessly.  Every screw I had to screw of the furniture at our new place brought a bead of sweat down my forehead.  Now i just pull the trigger and the little motor spins at top speeds and does the work for me.  I actively look for things that need to be drilled.  It is small and handy and easy charge.

There is only one battery and it does not last super long, so keep that in mind or get an extra battery.  It charges pretty quick though so that is a good thing.  There is a whole set of bits one can use, though I mainly stick to the two main one.  Easy to use and the battery life is fine foe typical small jobs around the house.

Sting and great feeling to it.  comes with all the attachments it needs and make the jumbo much easier.  I purchased for him to do some wooden fence repairs at my house and it made it so much easier for him to have the correct tools.

Bought this kit to upgrade my older 18V drill kit and I like it alot! I really like the heavy duty carry bag included with this set. This is the third drill I have owned & I have no complaints after about 6 months' use.  No issues with drill itself & I am very pleased with the battery life.  It holds its charge quite well, & better than other brands I have owned in the past.

It has plenty of power to get the job the done, it is fairly compact and lightweight.  I plan to keep it in my truck for emergencies.  If you are looking for a decent, cheap drill this product is it.  The low speed is very torquey.

I have a few black and decker 20v Max tools and they all work well.  This impact drill is no exception, it does what it is supposed to do.  It is not the most delicate of impact drill, so it is not the best for very fine work, but it does normal work just fine.  Black and decker does make some larger Mah batteries for its 20v Max collection, but I find that this battery will last fine for most things I am doing.  So If you are in The market for an Impact drill at a reasonable price, this is not a bad way to go. Used this drill a few times.

Probably going to end up buying a second one strictly to be used for 10mm so I am not swapping sockets so often.  Plus, once you put the 10mm socket down it is immediately missing.  I will test and update later on the actual torque output it has verified by a calibrated torque wrench.  This is perfect -not too big for my small hands -not to heavy for my aging muscles  although I do have some trouble changing the screw/drill/hammer mode , supplied with a basic set of drill bits and drivers and capable of doing anything I can imagine wanting to do.  3/8 square drive 1/4 hex adapter to switch between 8-17mm sockets but still able to use around the shop or house swapping to a Philips bit.

The clutch takes a little getting used to for driving screws, and it might have been nice to have a smaller bit for pilot holes, but I am delighted with the purchase.

this is a little drill with the power of a larger one.  really good little tool. This drill is very well made and powerful.

do not know about battery life but not gonna use for hours on end. lighter than expected  wanted lightness to work overhead , strong enough for what I need.  weak light just about useless, but will not rely on it anyway. Best Cordless Drill I ever purchased.

Great price. I needed a smaller set with smaller battery for dyi jobs.   I purchased this drill back in December.  These work perfectly and are ver powerful.  The set I had was to large and heavy for most jobs.

I can say that for what I use it for, it does a great job.  I never experience any drag with the drill.  It is a very light drill, even with the battery.  I bought a Hermit Shell case for this, and as long as I do not accidentally drop it, I think I am going to have this drill for a while.   If people chuckle that I am using this as a work drill, here's why: 1.  I work in a place where expensive tools walk out the door in someone else's bag all the time. I paid around 40 bucks for this through an  Warehouse deal.  If it is stolen, I am only out 40 bucks.  2.  No tool is drop-proof.  I use this at work a few times a week for securing copper cable onto spools.  None are.  I am better off dealing with a 40 dollar tool that is been dropped vs a 200 dollar tool.  3.   A lot of these demos on YouTube show people burning out the motors doing some crazy drilling.  Having to carry your tools up and down ladders, you want the lightest weight tool that you can get by with.  4.  I am not a brand slut.  Yes, this drill has enough torque that it drills through 1-3 AWG cable with three inch wood screws into a wood base just fine.  Most everything is made overseas nowadays.  If it works for the application at hand, that is all that matters. Great small drill.

! Little machine has plenty of power for any job. Not for a heavy duty contractor but the perfect tool for DIY around the house.  My wife can use it with ease.  Good value.

Better than others in same price range. These drills work perfectly they have a long battery life on the single charge I have not charged it since I bought it and it is still going strong on a single charge I would recommend these drills they work really good.

Of course, I first went around and tried it out on past projects, that may have not been securely done,--it really worked OK. A nice little electric screwdriver kit! Its portable and is a perfect tool addition to my craft room area.  Its not half as powerful as my dremel tool,--but it is a cordless, quick, and easy to use task doer.  It does run out of charge fairly quickly.  In using the screwdriver I did not like the trigger switch, as it would sometimes go into reverse instead of forward.  It might be better to have a sliding lever or similar.  This tool has a variety of bit sizes.  The drilling on ply-board was not very speedy, but did work OK---with the exception of the drill bit dropping out when reversing.  So other than the two above faults it did get the job done OK.  I am happy to add this convenient inexpensive tool to my craft area!. Not for a heavy duty contractor but the perfect tool for DIY around the house.

I had say it is great for around the home and for things like crafts and small projects but I would not recommend it for those weekend warriors or any kind of construction use. ?For the price its a great value for light duty use.  In the video I almost burnt up the drill at 1:20 in the video I was using a half inch bit if you notice smoke coming out the back, smelt like brunt electrical.   It is a nice little light weight drill and for the size it is quite a power house, I pushed it hard drilling though 3 inches of pine with 1/2 inch drill bit over and over and over. My 20 year old Black and Decker drill gave up the ghost.

This cordless drill is so much easier to use for the kind of jobs around the house I need it for. I do have a Bosch power drill that I inherited from my father, but it is pretty heavy and is powered from the mains.  It is a bit heavier than it looks, but is nicely balanced and it is much easier to wield without dragging an extension cable around.  Also acts as a powered screwdriver, which is great for self-assembly furniture.  Powerful enough for me to put a screw in my deck for hanging an outdoor hose reel and a few pieces of metal art.

I can see no need to spend double or even triple the price for a bigger brand that does the same thing. Es una muy buena inversión, tiene potencia. I am a handyman that does a lot of tv mounting and this impact drill makes short work at driving lag screws.

Not too bulky. Love love love this drill  After very much research I decided on this product.  Gets the job done with no issues.   The magnetic tip is an added bonus 10/10 would recommend!.  This drill does not disappoint  Fast charging, charge last foreverrrr. Bought this for my quick dyi's around the house and i love it.

What do I want to drill first? So easy to use, and very powerful.  The variable speed control on the drill is excellent, quick to recharge and very light to handle.

I like to support small businesses but these were selling for $120. 00 more at the hardware store.  They come fully charged, I definitely recommend these ones. These are great drills for the money, this is my 3rd one.

I was expecting this drill to be low end but I was surprised when I first used it.  It drives screws and dry wall anchors with no trouble.  Good value for the very affordable price.

It is lightweight so I can use it longer and my hands not get tired of holding it. I got this cordless drill set so I personally have it handy for emergency needs.  It is small enough and not bulky to set it somewhere and not take too much space.  I like that I can work in dark places with its led light.  To charge the battery, you plug it to an outlet with the chord.  And what I am excited most is the flexible shaft attachment, which is awesome and works great.  Made with quality.  It is so convenient.  Would buy again if needed.  Good handle for the grip.

I am aware it is not the most powerful drill, but it works wonderfully for general household use.  The battery life is great, and it charges quickly.  I have used it for normal things  putting up shelves, putting together furniture, etc , and.  I find it very helpful that the battery part separates from the drill itself -- I do not have to leave the whole drill out while it charges, plus I feel safer storing it knowing it is not going to accidentally turn on.  less normal things  drilling holes in plastic dinosaurs for crafting purposes .  One thing to note -- I have never actually used the light on it. This product is great for novices! I do not think I have ever used a power tool before in my life, but it was super intuitive and the how-to guide was very helpful when I did get confused.  Long story short, this drill and I can do anything together.  It performed admirably on all occasions. . .  The lithium-ion battery ensures long-lasting performance, while the quick-charging feature keeps downtime to a minimum.

The battery confused me at first because it charges by plugging a cord into it, and when you attach it to the drill you have to press the button, but figured it out quick.  It is small, but heavy enough that is is durable and stable in your hand during use.  It works excellent.  I would suggest this product. This item is exactly as described.  You can not go wrong for a drill for this price.  Bonus feature I have never seen on any big name drill, there are slots for your main bits to actually attach to the top of the drill which will really help me because I will lose those every single time.  Came with everything pictures. Fits all around the house needs.

This is the fourth I own -- I still have all the others .  wife has one in her antiques van and one in her car and one in her shop -- they all used to be MINE --- over a decade and the 1st one's battery still charges. Has been working perfectly so far.   Great piece of quality equipment!  I have this one hidden.

It feels really good in your hand while using it.  While I have not done much with it yet, based on what I have done, this is a good little drill/driver with a fair amount of torque. ?This is a great drill, seems very solid feeling and battery life is great.

Powerful and multi purpose.  Many quality extras  complete set of bits, mini level, measuring tape, reversible screw driver with multiple bits, and more.  Great value for your money.  I have two 3/8 inch drills, but this 1/2 inch adds extra capability and pwer.

Being that it was on sale for around $35 when I bought it, it was COMPLETELY worth the price.  I had say it is probably worth paying nearly twice that, and it pleasantly surprised me.   My guess is that the batteries will be the weakest link.  The charger is on the higher end of it is capabilities to push the required charging amperage, and with how warm it gets, I honestly do not feel 100% comfortable letting it charge unattended if in a place where it could cause serious damage if it had an issue. I use this drill for light duty around the house, and therefore am not asking for much out of it.  This could just be me being overly cautious, but it never hurts.  But frankly, with as cheap as the drills are, you can probably just buy a whole other unit and still be ahead.  I am sure it is just standard 18650's in the pack so if you are a tinkerer familiar with batteries, when they start losing the ability to hold a charge you can likely just replace them yourself with a bit of electrical surgery.   Even with all that being said, if you do not ask more out of this drill than can be reasonably expected of it, I can definitely recommend it at this price point.  A bit holder Extendable, flexible arm 1 battery  12 volt 2000mAh Li-ion  Battery charger with power indicator light Tape measure Cutting knife All coming in a nice sturdy bag with carry handles.

I decided to use my Black & Decker cordless screwdriver for several months before submitting a review, even though  seemed eager for me to review it right away.  Anyway, I really enjoy using this tool.  The pivoting handle gives more leverage as well as makes it easier to use in tight spaces.  I like the way the forward-reverse switch works either by rotating to one side or the other, or by selecting a direction and pressing it.  It holds a charge much better than any previous cordless screwdiver I have had, and I bet it will outlast them as well.  The only improvements I could wish for is a stronger magnet in the bit holder, and some handy way to attach the bits to the screwdriver body to keep them with the tool.  Happy with the purchase.

I would buy again. I have needed this replacement for years, finally got it. Great drill for the price.
