21V Cordless Drill Driver 3/8-in. Electric Drill 51pcs & 2 Batteries

Im hard of cordless drill. My son said this was the best drill he had ever used.  I purchased for him to do some wooden fence repairs at my house and it made it so much easier for him to have the correct tools.

It is obviously not for heavy duty use or anything but if you need a basic tool for basic around-the-house stuff and do not want to spend a fortune, then this is a great buy. I bought this drill for my husband because we just bought our first home and literally have NO tools. Nice little drill for the money not a dewalt, but was not expecting that.  It has been a huge help to us in all the basic little household things you need a drill for, and the little bundle w/ the different types of screwdriver heads has been just wonderful.

Good value for the money. . because I lost the org battery charger, and when faced with paying as much for a replacement charger as buying a second screwdriver  which comes with a charger.

This drill is especially nice for smaller, light weight projects such as hanging pictures, shelves, and any other light duty household projects.  It is a good size and I like the many drill bits that came with it.  Overall, I am very happy with the quality, the size, the power, and again, I think this is a great household drill especially for taking care of the smaller duty jobs. Plenty of torque for most jobs.

It is super compact, which makes it easier to work in tight spaces. This is a great drill for a household use at a really good price. Best Cordless Drill I ever purchased.

It is a testament to Black & Decker's commitment to producing tools that are built to last. Changing from forward to reverse on the new drill is slightly different than my old one  which I had and used and abused for about 10 years .  But having the light, which my old one did not, makes this one much better and worth getting used to the differences in forward/reverse buttons I would definitely buy this again!.

got a new one now I have 4 batteries for my new one. Grab it on sale good quality for around the home task probably not the best for everyday industrial building work.

I graded this on what it is not on what it should be.  Need an inexpensive impact driver? This one is for you!.  But, so far it does function like it should and has plenty of accessories.  Charges really fast and I like that it has an over heat shut off to protect the drill. First, look at that price and everything you get!  Second, ok but it does look and feel like cheap plastic - not at all like a professional brand.

Cute drill set! Can not wait to use. This is a replacement for older sears that could not find replacement battery.

Easy to handle, used it for past week, can adjust speed seamlessly, it has all sets of drill keys, charging speed was okay, bag included was nice for organizing.  Best value for home purpose. Used time and time again and has not failed me yet!.

That it will last a long time. Great drill set, only i do not like is the fact the drill bits are not magnetic.

saw on sale and already had black and decker weed eater  so now have 2  same  battery's can be used in either device nice thing as can just barely finish weed eating yard with full charge  so snagged this plenty power like driving 3. 5 inch deck screws no problem while remodeling deck/stairs..

I have used the hammer drill mode to drill six 5/16 holes about five inches deep through concrete and it handled it with no problem. Light weight and easy to use.  Battery life good.  Torque good for size.

I switching the drill speed setting while the drill trigger was pulled and spinning, and that seemed to "catch" the chuck, and I have not had an issue since. This is a great little drill, perfect for the small jobs, and even some bigger ones.  It is a great drill that rivals some name brands.   One note, my chuck clutch started slipping on the first use, or so I thought.  This is really a great product to add to my tool kit.  Lithium battery keeps it charged longer than nicad ones.

I am impressed.  I found the high speed on a low battery is not quite enough to fully set a sheetrock screw, but the low speed never faltered. I had it and the total charge.

This drill was just fine for my little household projects. The new house needed simple things like curtain rods and spots to hang the pictures.

Came fast and works fine right out if box. I bought a drill from a store and then got this one weeks later.

And there is no reason for the extension to be so thick  could have been the same size at the bits — except where it connects with the bit . Home improvement.  Working great!!!.

Light, small and compact. Great quality and durability for the price.  Easy to charge and add the right tip to remove or screw. I love this tool, instead of chasing for the drill.

The standby battery life is great  mine still has plenty of charge after sitting for a month  and it has plenty of power.  I have only used it to build a 10' x 12' deck, but it held up great for that. This thing is a good buy for the money.  Two batteries come with, though it seems to run efficiently and one is more than enough for my projects.

I like them for what I do and I do a lot of home remodeling and farm work.  They work great and the batteries last long. No need to change bits on these if you have two.  I bought extra batteries as well..

I really was not anticipating anything spectacular, as it is not a well known brand. So I mostly own all Dewalt tools and between my work truck and shop, I have very little tools at home.  Now let me tell you that this jar-owi cordless drill set is quite impressive.  It is lighter than my Dewalt, charges as fast as my Dewalt 1. 5ah batteries and so far, performs the same.  It comes with the basic screw bits, drill bits and sockets that are common for stuff around the house.  It feels more comfortable than my Dewalt and again, the weight is noticeably lighter.  So I ordered this cordless drill kit.  My wife likes this cordless screwdriver over the old black and decker one that she kept in the barn and likes the fact that it has a good selection of bits included in the case.  The case is well designed.  I would have liked it if the case was designed to carry the cordless driver with the battery attached.  Unfortunately you have to remove the battery to store everything in the case.  I can tell you that the performance is great.  I needed some tools at home that my wife, daughter and I could quickly access.  The battery life is the same as my Dewalt and I can use this thing nonstop for a couple hours and do not notice it overheating or dropping in performance.  Would I use it at work instead of my Dewalt, probably not.  The reason is that I have been a big fan of Dewalt and have had the same cordless screwdriver and impact driver for over 8 years, including the batteries and they have never failed. I recommend this to women who just need to do small things around the house.

Nothing to dislike.  I have two 3/8 inch drills, but this 1/2 inch adds extra capability and pwer. underpowered, slow spinning.

For daily stuff around the house, as I use my drill, this one seems to get the job done well and at a great price. I have been using Ryobi 18  for years but was wanting a hammer drill after I recently struggled to put holes in my shower tile with the Ryobi, and I was looking to save some $ along the way.  And next time I need to drill into rock, I have got a proper hammer drill on hand. The drill feels sturdy and quite good.

They work really well especially the impact driver.  Good purchase for this price point.  It is just AMAZING! Used it for first light weight project for wood blocks and it worked well, feels sturdy and it exterior shell is metal in some parts, which is a good sign.  Well, time will tell how it will last, I will update it as needed. This works equivalently good. I had two Black and Decker screwdrivers lying around with only 1 charger and zero bits.  - Not an ideal set-up.   I started searching  for some bits and saw the set and just as I was about to purchase it, I saw the Screwdriver Bit Set for not a whole lot more, so I went ahead and bought it.  The kit is in a small, sturdy box  bonus that you can preview what is inside with the clear plastic top  that will not take up much room in your tool box or even a kitchen drawer.  I think this is an excellent starter kit for someone that needs the basics ie.  just bought their first house, got their first apartment or even just wants to downsize their toolkit.

Easy to use and small enough to be really handy.  Great experience. A nice product.

But for domestic use, for that hobby and DIY home use stuff, as a device you reach for every time you need to build an Ikea shelving unit and so on, there are a lot of positives.   There is a good feel to it and the lack of weight can prove quite handy, as you can comfortably hold it at different angles as required.  The sensitivity of the handle is nicely weighted so that you can find your way with a few gentle turns, then squeeze to apply full power when you are happy it is going in the right direction.  Slow does not necessarily mean low power either, so the slower press can still turn a stubborn screw, but gently.  As such I do not think it will make in-roads for professional use, where the usual big brand names still dominate for a reason.   The battery is remarkably small and the charging dock is also on the compact side, albeit a little bit untidy.   If you are someone who is a little bit unsure whether you do enough drilling and screwing to justify the cost of a good drill, then this is a good option for you.  It is far less expensive than investing in one of the branded items, but still a decent quality that is going to last for years. This drill is a little on the lightweight side- both literally, and in terms of the torque it can apply.   Especially if you remember not to leave the battery on charge unnecessarily.  .  The battery life is great for casual use  and now that I have two batteries, I can keep one charged at all times.

Great price and highly recommend. We recently bought a house and have a lot of projects and remodeling we need to do so a drill is pretty important. It is a Christmas gift so it will not get used till then.  This does everything we need it to do and comes with all of the different attachments needed for whatever we are working on.

I looked around  for other Black and Decker stuff that uses 20v batteries and it looks like a ton of other power tools and garden tools can work off the same battery. Great drill and I love that it came with the drill bits and all those screw driving bits for my projects around the house.  I am definitely going to check out more of the 20v garden tools for my yard this spring! So far after a month of using this drill around the house I have been very pleased because it has been able to do everything I have needed to do.  It has been a busy January so far with all these projects! I charged it right after I received it in the mail back in December and went to use it just this week  mid-January  - it was still charged! I am used to having to charge up a battery before using the drill with my old Black and Decker drill I bought a long time.  If you need a drill for your projects at home I highly recommend this one.  That was great because I wanted to use it right away.  We just moved into our house last fall and it feels like my "honey do" list is always growing, plus I like keeping a drill in the house and one in the garage for whenever I need to tighten a screw on a door/cabinet/hinge/furniture pieces or hang stuff on the wall.  I now have bits for four kinds of screws.  Charged pretty quick right after I got it, did not have to charge it over night like my old 18v drill.

Bought it as a Gift for S/O.  I have many different ones.  When I needed the hammer drill, I figured instead of buying another brand that uses a different charger and battery, I would buy another Hychika.  Very happy with it.  Also, it us brushless which should make it last a long time.

I do not have the hand muscle strength to tighten or loosen screws with a handheld screwdriver, so this is perfect for me.  It is also compact and easy to store in small spaces. I just needed a cordless screwdriver or small drill to put furniture together and to hang shelves, etc. Easy to use and light weight.

I bought this drill with a TCBWFY Garden Auger Drill Bit- 3x16. 5inch .  I used it loosen/ amend soil.  Never wrote a review because it operated as expected - it drilled stuff.

The Drill is very powerful, but the Drill bit is not that strong if you want to make a hole by the hard rock/stone it will be broke. Did not expect anything, but was happy it does the job for odds and ends around the house, yard etc.

I brought the drill with me to Home Depot to ask them to solve this problem for me.  They told me ai.  Sneed a T25.  Last three days I had use this drill to install my first 3 planter boxes.  I went home & got job done.  I made my 1st planter box 6X3X1. I purchased this tool on Dec 1, 2022.  Next day I made 2nd planter box, 6'X3'X18 inches.  The drill bits came with the tool which was not good.  The battery last really long.  One full charge I had screw more than 100 deck screws for 2 days.  I could not drill the deck screw all the way down and the drill bit was stuck in the wood.  I am very proud of myself, I am only 5 feet tall and 92 pounds.  If I can do it , everyone else who are small and skinny like me can do it too.  I only used once then to drill a hole to install a smart door lock.  It is a great improvement for previous models.

The variable torque limit setting works well.  I am very pleased with it.  I only have one battery, but the lithium battery lasts a lot longer than the old technology battery in my 10 year old Dewalt that this unit replaced.  When doing the roof, I put the battery on the charger whenever I needed a break, and the battery never ran out of juice.  It has plenty of torque.  And next time I need to drill into rock, I have got a proper hammer drill on hand. I have driven at least 2000 screws with this to put a metal roof on my house.  It is light weight.

Been wanting to get Bae a tool set, he loves it.  He can not stop using it.  I really like the strength of the drill and driver.

To do this I decided upon a series of tests of what I felt were of gradually escalating difficulty.  While these tests may be pertinent to my particular situation, only you can decide if they are a "fit" to your situation and expected usage of the product.  I guess it is because after reading all the other reviews prior to buying, I am somewhat conflicted since mostly, people either seem to love or hate this drill and I had like to get my two cents worth in.   Incidentally, for my tests, even though I typically use hardwood, I felt that since White Pine is the lumber that most homeowners commonly use, it would be more appropriate for my tests and, since 3/4" stock is far and away the most common lumber that I would utilize this thickness.  While I am not an expert, I do build and sell hardwood furniture and am familiar with most of the tools that you would find in a working woodshop.   I was surprised by all the negative reviews.  My results were as follows:  Drill Three 1/4" holes through 3/4" stock with a brad point bit - Accomplished  Drill Three 1/2" holes through 3/4" stock with a brad point bit - Accomplished  Drive Three 3/8" Lag Bolts through previous 1/4" holes in 3/4" stock - Accomplished  Drill Three 5/8" holes through 3/4" stock with Forstner Bit - Accomplished  Drill Three 7/8" holes through 3/4" stock with Spade Bit - Accomplished  At this point, I was expecting the charge to be gone from the batteries.  One of the reasons I bought this drill was because I was somewhat titilated wondering if it was a worthwhile purchase or not.  Using a spade bit is difficult and draining on any drill.   I thought that this drill looked interesting.  So, I decided to up the ante; I increased the size of the spade bit to 1 3/8"  a very large hole indeed  and the stock thickness to 2" stock  nomimal 1 5/8", a two by four .  With its bright colors and swirly lines it looks like something Roger Rabbit would use  or, if you are in my generation; Bullwinkle .  My intention was to continue to drill holes to the point of refusal of the battery to rotate the drill.  It is attractive; I like the look of the new flat battery packs as opposed to the older, clunky "stick-type" batteries.  I noted that this drill is 20V which, you would think would make it more powerful but, in looking at the torque rating, it is not necessarily so.  Results as follows:  Drill 1 3/8" holes through 1 5/8 " stock til failure - 3 1/2 holes Accomplished  Now, to be truthful, when I stopped, the battery was still rotating the chuck and bit but, it was starting to bog down.  A lot of reviewers are complaining about the bit not being held tightly in the chuck.  In other words, battery failure was imminent.  Please note that the icon of the screw is uppermost on the barrel.  Could I have finished the 4th hole? Yeah, probably I could have abused the tool and forced it to finish but, it did not have much left.  If you have "10" or any other number at the top of the barrel, you are in a "torque setting" which is used when driving screws.  Also, even though I was wearing leather gloves, I could feel a lot of heat at the barrel  after all, these tests were done with no interruptions  and it was apparent to me that to continue, I would probably smoke the motor, which made no sense to me.  If you hear a clicking sound when tightening the chuck around a bit, then you need to adjust the ring so the screw icon is on top.  Also, note in the photo, that I am wearing leather gloves.  You can take my word for it; This drill would not have finished a 5th hole without catastrophic failure.  Because of this, most of us do not exert all the pressure we are capable of.  By the way, I do not recommend using spade bits with a hand-held drill.  The holding power of the chuck is dependent entirely upon the tightness of "YOUR" grip when inserting the bit and holding the chuck ring.  They are particularly hard on a drill and, although I rarely use them, I only use them in my drill press.  Nothing in the construction of the drill I received would lead me to believe that it is some kind of manufacturing deficiency.   Upon unboxing this drill at a friends house his wife thought it looked "cute" and felt it would be a good addition to their kit  they frequently go to numerous flea markets throughout Texas and carry basic tools with them .  The only reason I utilized them in this testing was because I knew they would put a substantial drain on the battery.  The reason for this is the drill handle being smaller than a normal battery operated drill.  Especially using a large diameter bit like the 1 3/8" comes very close to the definition of abusing your tools so, if you can avoid it, I suggest not subjecting your drill to loads such as this.  It is also lighter than the average drill which, I think most women could appreciate.   Conclusions: I believe that this is drill that is well suited to the home handyman. Do not know why I am reviewing this drill.  Would it be a good drill for a professional that needed it for use daily? Probably not, although it might last a while.  It seems that a lot of folks are having problems with this drill; chuck failing or not holding bits properly, overheating and smoking, charging issues or battery not holding charge for very long, etc.  Since  has return priviliges I figured I could examine the product thoroughly upon receipt and decide for myself if it was a good buy.  I also think a pro would want a drill with a little more torque and definitely more drilling speed.  If you will note in the first photo below, the barrel is somewhat shorter than the average cordless drill.  However, even though the listed torque is low, while I was drilling the largest holes with the spade bit, when it caught in the hole it had enough torque to spin my wrist around  and I am 6'4" and 210 lbs  so, it should be adequate for most of us.  Firstly, take a look at the the second photo below.  I also think that because of it is reduced weight it would be an ideal drill for a woman and I think the manufacturers did a good job of "splitting the difference" in designing a grip that is both large enough for a big man  though just barely  and small enough to be comfortable for the average woman.  This means that when you achieve a certain tension, the clutch will slip and fail to tighten the chuck further.   Caveat: As I told you earlier, one of the reasons I got this drill was because of all the contradictory reviews  it piqued my curiousity .  With gloves protecting your hands, if it slips, you do not get burned and you are capable of tightening your grip and getting maximum holding power between the chuck/bit.  I think that the majority of the complaints pertaining to this problem would be solved if the above two suggestions were followed.  I think almost 20% of the reviews have some complaint about this product.  It is still big enough for a man but, being smaller, it will be easier for the average female to handle than most drills.  If you do decide to purchase, make sure that you do test and inspect your drill closely to make sure that none of the issues mentioned in other reviews are present in your purchase.  After reading about a bazillion reviews  small exaggeration  I did not know what to think and, I thought perhaps I could help my fellow ians  is that a word?  make a buying decision based upon my own, hopefully informed opinion.  Based upon the product I received, it is apparent to me that Black & Decker is capable of making a quality product however, DO inspect yours prior to the expiration of the return window.   Now, just to make a comment on one of the most frequent complaints in other reviews.  With this caveat, I can recommend this cordless drill.  Frequently, when hand-tightening the chuck, it will escape your grip  after all, we are not as strong as gorillas  and spin, burning your hand.  You might have noted that I mentioned this is a good womans drill in my title blurb.   I hope that this review, since it addresses issues outside of others comments, was of some help to you.  To me it looks kind of "cartoony"  there he goes again; making up words . .   I decided I would test this drill for both overall power and battery life. .  This is important when chucking in a bit as it ensures maximum torque and tightness.

Very pleased with this tool.  It does all my small jobs with ease and holds a charge well.  I would recommend this drill, especially if you are on a budget.

As the title states, I bought this same exact drill in March of 2014 and have NEVER had an issue with it. . no pun intended.  But that is not why I am writing this review.   This drill came with a 20V battery, but I bought another extended life 20V battery to go with it.  Both batteries have held up amazingly well over the past six and a half years with absolutely no issues or charging problems.  On average, over the timeline I have had this drill, I probably used it at least once a week, and at times, all day long without having to charge the batteries.  I purchased the small 3 1/2 inch bladed cordless circular saw that uses the same batteries, and I have never had an issue with that tool, but that is another review.   This drill is lightweight and perfect for 'around the house' use for light to moderate work, whether one is screwing wood together or drilling hole after hole, it gets the job done without having to stop and recharge batteries.  Even so, that is why I bought an extra battery, so that I could keep working if I drained one.  The drill has plenty of torque to get those longer wood screws into the wood, although I tend to drill pilot holes to assist with the longer screws, but it is not necessary.  Of course, without pilot holes for longer screws, they will tend to drain the battery quicker due to having to work a bit harder getting the longer screws into raw wood.  And, if it is a hard wood, the battery will work even harder and drain faster.   So, the reason I am purchasing this drill again is; because my 'over six year old' same drill has a 'locked up' chuck, and I was not able to get it to unlock. . . and it has a drill bit stuck in the chuck, and it will not come out.  The chuck will turn both ways, but will not release the drill bit.  I did a 'YouTube' search on how to disengage a locked up chuck on a chuck-less drill, but all the methods I watched did not work for me.  So, instead of continuing to be frustrated over this issue, I have decided to purchase the same drill again, because I have received such GREAT use from it the past 6   years.  I am very satisfied that I have got my monies worth out of this drill.  And, I will not have to buy more batteries. . . I can still use the ones I have, plus I will have three now to rotate and use.   As a side note: It could very well have been my fault for the chuck locking up.  I put in a 28/64th size drill bit  which fit fine , but I did not use the "drill bit" setting to tighten the bit in place, albeit, I did get my holes drilled.  But when I tried to loosen the bit and take it out, the chuck locked up.   Having said that, this was my first experience with the bit kit. . or was already locked up.  Maybe I will figure something out and will still have a useable old drill. . . I can only hope.  But if not, I will have a new one to break-in. . well, not until today. ..

Kind of a bummer.  Still love the drill. I love this drill!!! I used to get stuck trying to drill into the studs, not anymore!! Heck I could probably drill through the stud into the cement with this thing!! Buy this drill it is awesome! Only issue is the included bag smelled like grandmas 100 year old basement. Works extremely well, pro form quality tools!.

This has a hard carrying case that is also pink. I love my new pink drill! What I like most about this drill is that it is pink and has so many accessories. .  It also comes with a bending rod so you can go around a rounded corner even. yay! I love my new drill and I am excited to have it for my vry own. I did not even know they made those so neat and it also has a plug in cord.  I am not sharing  it is that cool. .  I love it!.  This drill has the battery included which is so great and it comes with so many drill bits and screw tips.  VERY HAPPY I PURCHASED IT.

finally wore it out or the switch quit working , caught a deal and ordered me another one. I bought this tool set for my grandson.  He told me that it is great and he loves it and uses it almost every day.

It is a little smaller than typical drills, but it is light weight, it comes with a spectacular variety of bits, and is not as loud as a larger model drill.   I have used it for one craft so far and I am pleased with it.  The size and power of this drill is just right for the not so heavy duty uses I need it for.  Again, it is small size is not quite aimed at large scale or hefty projects, but it gets the job done and does not take up much space in my cabinet. As a novice crafter, I needed a drill for the various projects I am beginning.  That is why  has a great return/exchange policy.

Odds are if you are looking at this review, you do not see the need to purchase something over $150 at hardware stores for a drill.  This has literally done every job I used it for around the house.   Pros: *Power - You will be pleasantly surprised! *24-position clutch - Works as advertised.  The best $50 I spent for sure.

Money well spent. I bought this drill and extra battery because we just moved into a new home requiring all sorts of assembly and installation projects.  My 20-year old Black & Decker died, necessitating a replacement. This thing is awesome I dont know why it has bad reviews.  I have never had to swap batteries and the lowest it registered after several hours of use was 2 of 4 bars.  The chuck is easy to use and does not slip very often.  The torque is highly adjustable.  I have used it to install 11 sets of cordless blinds, multiple shelving units and floating shelves, assemble and install five different cabinets of different types and a hasp lock on a new shed.

We tried wrenches, we even tried sawing it off to get at the screw that holds the chuck on the drill. real good for light construction or shop.

It is performed every job I have asked it to, most of which were completely out of its league.  It is fallen 3 stories on to solid concrete and it is been used in rain more times than I can count.  I moved a year ago and it got lost somehow, now that I have found it, the battery will not take a charge- I assume that is just a result of the lithium battery sitting. Bought this thing 6 years ago as my first power tool and I have used it for everything from polishing wheels and cleaning headlights to mounting solar panels and drilling solid concrete for anchors.  This thing owes me absolutely nothing and I am happy to buy another battery to get it going again. 0Ah battery is large enough to last through any typical DIY repair around the home with ease.

This is far superior to the Worx I returned.  Love that it is cordless, but wish it would have come with something to hold all the bits together.

Also comes with a good selection of drill bits for a variety of projects. I like that it has a lot of drills.

This is a 12 volt and it has a lot more power to finish the job all by itself. I had those old Craftsman cordless screw drivers that you could use it like a long tool or bend it at the center and use it like a gun.  There was never enough power to push some screws in all the way. The Drill is very powerful, but the Drill bit is not that strong if you want to make a hole by the hard rock/stone it will be broke.  I always had to use a manual screwdriver to finish the job with those 3.

I bought this in May 2019, and it is been nothing but helpful ever since.  Its been used pretty frequently with no problems, and does what it needs to do. Long battery life with lots of power.

It has great frequency with variable speed and its pretty solid. Was looking for the basic drill machine for my house needs but for the cost it has plenty of options.  This is really a great product to add to my tool kit.  We have several of these in different locations.

Amazing quality of these tools.  We renovate two homes and this was essential for saving time.  Either the product is defective  so poor quality control , does not function as described or poor customer service.

good price. I got it for my son who does not know how to use a screw driver or a hammer.  It was very easy, comfortable and light to use. .  he/we did a dresser, night stand and a bed frame from IKEA with this little machine . .  I used it to put together a large drawer unit from IKEA and the torque settings on the chuck made it so quick and safe for not stripping the wood or driving the fasteners in too far etc.  Perfect for a student at college/university.

A nice little electric screwdriver kit! Its portable and is a perfect tool addition to my craft room area.  This tool has a variety of bit sizes.  Of course, I first went around and tried it out on past projects, that may have not been securely done,--it really worked OK.  Its not half as powerful as my dremel tool,--but it is a cordless, quick, and easy to use task doer.  It does run out of charge fairly quickly.  In using the screwdriver I did not like the trigger switch, as it would sometimes go into reverse instead of forward.  It might be better to have a sliding lever or similar.  The drilling on ply-board was not very speedy, but did work OK---with the exception of the drill bit dropping out when reversing.  So I think there should be a collar or similar to lock the drill bit in place.  I am happy to add this convenient inexpensive tool to my craft area!.  I used the drill for like 3hrs building that large unit  on and off  and it only dropped one bar.

Kind of a bummer. Battery life is good after 2 years of use.  Must recharge after EVERY day of use like instructions say.

As long as the battery is charged the high speed worked fine too.  I debated on buying a different brand but for $5 more a drill and 2 batteries was a better deal.  The low speed is very torquey.  Besides, the other brand build THIS brand.  The two speeds are nice. I had one of these for 10 years before the battery died and would not hold a charge.  I found the high speed on a low battery is not quite enough to fully set a sheetrock screw, but the low speed never faltered.

Love it and use it more then I thought I would for random stuff around the house. I did not like the torque gun as it does not have the real power of a good torque gun.

I bought this as an emergency because I really needed to put a whole through my work desk that is at home, and it definitely made my job so much more easy! I have only had it a few days but I love it, I really wanted to get a pink one but decided to get a good well known brand instead.  100% recommend, Will update if anything changes!. The charge lasts a long time; I was able to assemble several furniture items before needing to recharge it. My wife says: I was looking for a drill to keep in my craft room so that I would not have to bother my husband every time I needed to do a small job.  This is perfect -not too big for my small hands -not to heavy for my aging muscles  although I do have some trouble changing the screw/drill/hammer mode , supplied with a basic set of drill bits and drivers and capable of doing anything I can imagine wanting to do.

Compared to so-called "brand name" this is hands down better than others. I can say this is worth the money.  So, many small goodies included with it also.  It performed much better than Craftsman and almost identical to Roybi's. This is far superior to the Worx I returned.  I had Craftsman and also has Roybi.

never expected the quality, torque power, and overall excellence a lower-class drill driver.  a great buy. What surprise, I bought it to replace a drill I got from harbor freight that I dropped.  Every screw I had to screw of the furniture at our new place brought a bead of sweat down my forehead.

I have used this thing for hours at a time, might get a little hot when used excessively which I tend to do but she is worth it. Works well, have not ran into a job it can not do. Es de excelente calidad como siempre.

Battery life is good mine came with 2x batteries . It is a decent light weight drill suitable for home use I would not use it for any masonry .  Motor is a little exposed so not ideal around any possible water splashes/rain. This drill is a great value for the money.

I bought this hammer drill for my household jobs, the drill is much more than i expected. I really like Ryobe tools.  Had the last one for many years before I had to replace it.  This drill is an improvement.

I will report back if there are any problems that arise from its use.  I would definitely try this one before purchasing something more expensive.  I love that it also offers a hammer function which is great, I may have trouble finding spare batteries but I do appreciate the inclusion of a barrel type connector on the battery versus some type of proprietary connector and charger that you get from brands that cost much more.  I would not use it as my only drill if I had others around, but I will definitely be using this as my primary drill seeing as I do have backups. This drill seems on par with name brands.

The drill is nice and sturdy feeling and has enough power for work around the house. The drill feels sturdy and quite good.  Overall would recommend.  I like how the individual drill heads come in this rollable carrying case.  It allows me to adapt to different materials and tasks effortlessly.

The kit has all the attachments you would normally need for almost any job.  I Love it! I am still using it, and so is my husband.  I received an email about a special sale, 1st thing was this drill, knowing our situation, I ordered it.  Would not send it back for anything in the world! Plus it really holds a charge.  My husband wanted me to send it back since he had other drills but this one was heaven sent! In finding our old ones that were packed up since May 2013, they did not charge, so this drill was an excellent choice to keep.   Cons: needs a holder inside the case to make it secure.  Easy to use, well built, light weight, plus had a great price.  With the charger in there too, I do not like them bumping up against one another when you pick up the box. I ordered this drill because we just moved into a new home, wanted to make some changes on our own, and our drills were somewhere in a box not labeled correctly.  There is a nice powerful LED light to illuminate the work area.

Also, it us brushless which should make it last a long time. As with most Black and Decker products, this drill is great.  The battery lasts a long time, it has plenty of power, and is lightweight.  The built in light is not of great value, but who really depends on that anyway? I would not hesitate to buy another should the need arise.

Light on drill is awesome battery seems to last for ages. Too often the drill is bulky and too heavy to fit in my hand and allow me to hold it for jobs without fatigue setting in; however, this drill was PERFECT! I was pleasantly surprised by all the tool pieces that came in the case.  This was DEFINITELY better than me trying to but at a Home Depot or Lowes!.

I turned it on just to check it worked and it seemed adequately bright, but I only have done projects in areas that already had more than enough light, so I can not speak as to its effectiveness there. This product is great for novices! I do not think I have ever used a power tool before in my life, but it was super intuitive and the how-to guide was very helpful when I did get confused.  I have used it for normal things  putting up shelves, putting together furniture, etc , and. .  less normal things  drilling holes in plastic dinosaurs for crafting purposes .  It performed admirably on all occasions.  I am aware it is not the most powerful drill, but it works wonderfully for general household use.  The battery life is great, and it charges quickly.  Gets the job done with no issues.  One thing to note -- I have never actually used the light on it. .  I find it very helpful that the battery part separates from the drill itself -- I do not have to leave the whole drill out while it charges, plus I feel safer storing it knowing it is not going to accidentally turn on.

I really like the strength of the drill and driver.  The feel in the hand is wonderful. I am using this for a deck project and masonry drilling.  So far the battery life is excellent and it really gets the job done.  The one thing I do not like is that the 1/2 inch drill chuck does not always securely grab the drill bit.  I sometimes have to use pliers to remove drill bits stuck in wood.  This part of the drill should be improved but overall it is an excellent product and a good value for the money..

I needed a portable hammer drill and saw this one for $32 on .  I had $42 in  rewards, so I figured why not give it a try.  This drill seems to be a lot higher quality than I was expecting.  I have used the hammer drill mode to drill six 5/16 holes about five inches deep through concrete and it handled it with no problem.  I will update how it lasts over the long haul.  If it holds up, this is a fantastic buy!.   Pros: *Power - You will be pleasantly surprised! *24-position clutch - Works as advertised.

I actively look for things that need to be drilled.  Multiple times a day I squeeze the trigger just to feel the power!.  Now i just pull the trigger and the little motor spins at top speeds and does the work for me.  He loved it.  Every screw I had to screw of the furniture at our new place brought a bead of sweat down my forehead.

100% worth every cent and more!!!.  It is just AMAZING! It fits my small hands great, light enough for arthritic hands to hold and use, awesome pink and black color, comes with lots of extra bits and extensions, the case is awesome it is so sturdy and durable. Did not come with a battery, I did not notice a light   may have one but sure was not noticeable  and I am old so not much is lightweight to me anymore but it beats many of the other ones out there on the market.  I would love To have a few of these.  The battery is simple to charge and the battery life is quite long!! I have t needed to charge it yet and I have used it around the house for about 2 hours total.

Most all of these were NiCad battery powered and in the early days did not use replacement battery packs but had them permanently placed in the drill body.  I am the kind of person that will buy the cheap shoddy piece of crap several times rather than the "Good one" the first time.  A few years ago a store opened in our area that had cheap cordless drills at a bargain basement prices.   I do not want to embarrass anyone here, but I think their name rhymes with "Barber Gate".   So, for the price of 5 Big Macs, you had yourself a cordless drill.  Problem was a couple months later when the batteries in the thing went kaput, you had to buy a new battery pack from them for the price of 4 Big Macs.  Or, you could have bought the extended warranty for the price of one Big Mac when you bought the drill, but buried in the fine print it said that the battery was not covered.  So you pony up 5 more Big Macs and get another one.  Here again, at my age, it usually works out.  After a box full of now useless drills, I am thinking, maybe this time it was not worth being so cheap.  Now the search for a replacement starts.  I find this one, looks like it will fill the bill, and what sealed the deal for me was that it has a futuristic ray-gun look about it.  Win-Win! Say no more.  I plunk down 12 Big Macs, get it a couple of days later, charge it up and I am off to the races.  I might be cheap and old, but when it comes to getting a new toy in the mail, I am a nine year old kid all over again.  I have used cordless drills since they became popular in the 70's, but generally the lower end of what was available.  I drilled holes in everything all day.  It was great! How long will it last? I did a couple of medium large projects and it has not been re-charged.  Since I have not had it for two months at this point, the final chapter has yet to be written, especially since I do not use or need it on a daily basis.  So, if you do not have a Sears near you where you can get the "Good Stuff", I would highly recommend this one.  The drill is well balanced and does what I need it to do.

I had a similar drill for several years.  It got dropped from a second-story balcony and I glued the case together and it kept working until recently when I misused the drill with a bulb-planting tool.  This is perfect for my needs and uses the same batteries and chargers as other tools I have. Well, time will tell how it will last, I will update it as needed. I have not charged it since purchasing and it is still going.  I have used it several times with an auger drill bit to drill holes for planting, planted a whole garden!.

This is a great tool to have in any household. I beat the life out of this drill and it still works fine.   It is surprisingly powerful, compact & has a long battery life.  It has been the perfect solution & has helped me avoid days of discomfort & pain in my hands.

Have had one for years without issue.  Can highly recommend. Lightweight, outstanding duration on a full charge, torque powerful but controlled to prevent stripping of fasteners, locking feature allows full manual force without compromising the driver and the thumb actuated swivel lock allows for two positions to best fit the application. I had it and the total charge.

Locks well and come with tons of heads. Yes, it is not the top Top product out there but it does the trick.  Be careful — everything will tumble out of the box at the slightest angle.

I had to charge it at least 3 hours for it to be fully functional.   Tip: i dont know if its just this brand or all drills are this way, but there isnt a regular "trigger" on the drill, there is a small horizontal button that slides either to the left or the right to power on.  Box states charging times between 3-4hrs, and that is correct.   Initially, I was getting so frustrated because I thought my lil power tool was malfunctioning.  I wanted to use the drill to install my cabinet hardware.  I kept drilling and drilling but to avail.  I was ready to give up and then I accidentally figured out my error which leads to my next tip:  Pro tip: when the black button is pushed all the way to the left the drill bit powers in a forward motion.  When black button is pushed all the way to the right it is in reverse. Drilling my heart out!  Ok, confession: this was my first time using a drill   Taking this right out of the box you will need to charge it.  My error was that I was powering the tool in reverse and as a result was not having any success in drilling a complete hole through the cabinet door.   I love this little power drill.  Hope my novice tip helps someone else.   Nonetheless, its a reputable brand with a great product. but a nice tool.

Beyond the fact that the battery had begun to lose its charge, keeping the screw or drill bit anchored securely in has started to come with frustration and provoked me to start using a regular screw driver.  This being widely inefficient, I finally found this little savior of power drill that features a much more reliable, powerful motor that has been fantastic at getting household repairs completed, as well as DIY efforts that require precise drilling.  Its handgrip is comfortable and slip-proof, lessening the strain I have previously encountered when working for long periods of time.  Aside from the ergonomic design, it is also much more lightweight than I was expecting which allows me to work for longer periods at a time without needing to take a break. I have been using a budget power drill over the past few years that does not pack performance but usually gets the job done.  The LED light feature is a welcomed addition since the sun sets earlier during this time of the year. Too soon to say… so far seems to work fine.

I used to always use a full sized power drill to do the simplest tasks, this thing is a game changer.   First, I had my doubts about a black and decker product but I am very happy  The driver has solid torque, and when assembling a dresser it was screwing into wood no problem.   It is light in your hand so no arm fatigue  Battery lasted 2 hours of building without losing strength  The ability to change the grips is also quite nice  It is now one of my favorite tools. It is good for lots of minor work at home. I had a B&D electric screwdriver for a long time.  I had to put a step stool together the other day and my screwdriver died.  I might not use this a lot but I know its there!.

Performed nicely.  There is a task light that comes on when the drill is engaged.  There is a toggle to reverse, lock or forward drill. , reachable by your thumb and forefinger.  Used it for screwing in some wood screws.  Chuckless… easy to install or remove bits.  Already have lots of drill bits… was able to use one of my drill bits to drill some holes into some outdoor planters.  Made quick work of that too.  It has a snap in holder for the provided Phillips/flat head bit.  Very nice light duty drill for the price. I bought this for myself because my husband's tools are never ready to use- dead battery, can not be found, etc.

An excellent value.  Highly recommended.  The battery holds a long charge & the motor has more torque than you are likely to need. Works like I thought it is smaller than I thought but it is nice I like it.  The attachments are also well made.

Makes it way easier to get things fix around the house. This may be a small drill compared to others, but it is heavy just the same.  It holds a good charge and love the light that brightens up the area your working on.  Bag is made well, sturdy.  This is a good drill to use around the home, possible even more involved projects.  Do not have any major projects right now, but wanted this as a back up to my cordless heavy duty drill.

I have quite a few tools that use the One  battery system.  Its great to have a common set of batteries for all of these tools.  A drill is one of the basic must have tool, this one does not disappoint.  I am amazed at the driving power, 4" screws or lag bolts are not an issue at all.  Its on a par with my plug in drill.  Light on drill is awesome battery seems to last for ages.

The kit came as and operated as described. I liked the fact that this kit provides enough parts and bits to get started.  Charge last good.  Time will tell how it holds up.  At this point I am expecting to get some life and longevity from it.  Certainly not at a level as the top cordless drill manufacturers but competent to get work done.

I needed a drill to install my new Ring doorbell into my brick house.  I had never used a hammer drill and did not know what it was.  But my research showed it was needed it I was to make holes in brick.  So I figured it would cost $75-$100 to get a handy man over to do the job.  For less than that, I bought the hammer drill and from another company a decent quality masonry bit.  I was able to do the job in a few minutes and spent less than the cost of the handyman. I already have this drill and love it, everything about it.

Bought it for my husband.  He loves tools.  A fan of green.  I do not have the hand muscle strength to tighten or loosen screws with a handheld screwdriver, so this is perfect for me.

It is very light and small, just what I was after.   It was the smallest drill I could find but it still has the punch to do what you want it to do.  I am only looking at drilling stuff like plastic and aluminium rather than masonry and this fits the bill perfectly. Great drill for daily around the house needs.

I am a woman that need tools in her life so this came in handy! It got everything I need & want!.  It fit just like the factory, with some minor modifications and one of the sensor holes, but I am not complaining.

This is a great cordless drill.   This will make a great addition to my tool box for home diy projects.  However, I could not say how this compares to other commercial pro drills and not sure how long the included battery would last for more heavy duty jobs.   For the price, it is good for light to medium duty jobs around the house and such.  It works great and is exactly what I was hoping for.

I bought my first Black & Decker drill in 2014 and I have used it at least once a week every week for the last nine years and it finally broke the other day and I cannot tell you how amazing the thing is. Great drill for daily around the house needs.  The case and accessories are useful!.

Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking to build their tools collection.  Everyone needs a power drill.  The battery holds a lot of juice. saw on sale and already had black and decker weed eater  so now have 2  same  battery's can be used in either device nice thing as can just barely finish weed eating yard with full charge  so snagged this plenty power like driving 3.

In the year or so that I have had these, the one time they let me down was removing bolts that ended up requiring penetrating oil, a top-end wrench, and a 30" breaker bar to get loose  and even then, it took a guy who has another 30lbs of body weight to put enough torque on them to get them loose . Lots of power and long battery life.

I would recommend this drill, especially if you are on a budget. Our very expensive drill died on us and we needed a drill ASAP.  The manual is complete and generally easy to understand.  I have to say for the price it looks great, works great, and it pretty sturdy.

The led light to shine on what you are drilling or driving is a plus.  It seems like it has sufficient power right out of the box.  The sampling of bits and drivers would help you get started on your project if this is your first drill/driver.  I also like that the grip does not feel chunky like some other brands, so this could be a good choice if you are someone with smaller hands. Used this for putting up hurricane shutters.

Good quality based on the price range. The drill stood up to building a small Deck.  with a 12' ramp and 4 step stairs and still works like new.  Drives in deck screws easy and handles easy.

I was looking for a drill to do the work and purchasing batteries separately is a headache for me, but this one comes with its battery as well. I have got a couple other high dollar, name brand drills and I have compared this one with them and I can not say the higher priced ones have anything more to offer than this drill has.  As a matter of fact the battery on this one lasts much longer than the others do.  As for power it has plenty to give and I have yet to get it bogged down the first time.  The clincher is the fact that I am no longer going to be paying a ridiculously high price for the brand name anymore.  This drill has proved to me that I do not have to.  Works amazingly.

It was a really great deal. I bought this for my husband and he is very happy with it.  I was very intimidated by the plethora of drills online but I knew that I needed something simple and manageable for myself.  He's used it around the property and in the garden building things this summer and it is a great work horse.

Bought this kit to upgrade my older 18V drill kit and I like it alot! I really like the heavy duty carry bag included with this set.  I can carry all my needed drill bits, screw tips, & sockets as well as extensions and extra batteries.  Very happy with this kit. I am very pleased with this drill.

Brand name, well made, works great. its not going to compare to like an impact driver but for your everyday household uses most of us are going to want a drill for its got plenty of power.  only been using about a month so cant attest to the durability but its power is holding up thru a few charges and doesnt seem to lose much after that first few recharges like most cordless drills do.

I especially like how the drill bits come in a roll-up organizer so you can find them easily. I am very pleased with this little drill.  I do wish this came with a flathead screwdriver bit, and I am shopping for one of those now.  I like the feel of the drill, and the packaging and accessories are nicer than I expected.  It seems like a very good value for the money.  I had a heavy corded drill  old  and it was a pain to use for screwing in some drywall patches. This is a great set for the price not for commercial work but great for around the house projects. Perfect for all of my household jobs.  Used it three times in the last 4 days.  Over range microwave installation.  Outdoor, wall mounted ceiling fan installation, and a bedroom ceiling fan installation.  So glad I had this to make quick work of these project needs.

It charges in almost next to no time and has a selection of bits that will pretty much work with everything.  The only thing I am not sure about is masonry but that is an attempt for another day.  All in all I am more than happy with this!. Very very happy with this! The drill is well made and could probably be worth more than it is  price.  The battery removes easily - you do not have to have a huge hand span to push both releases with one hand, also unlike other drills.

I also ordered the impact and circular saw heads and got another $10 off. I have a few projects that I am going to need a cordless drill/driver for coming up.   One of the projects I am doing involves removing/replacing the lattice panels on my porch.  They are bolted on and there are 4'X8" panels with about 400 bolts total holding them to the frame.  However I read primarily good reviews both here and other places.  So I thought "Perhaps I should get another battery at some point".  Then the light went off in my head.  A replacement battery from B&D costs at least $39. So when I saw this one on sale for $41 PLUS another $10 off if you bought some accessories to bring it up to $50 total I jumped at it. 99.  I had be a fool to send this one back.  IT was a great deal also.  Let us see, for a DOLLAR I get a drill, a bit, and a charger.  Plus I got essentially free screwdriver and drill bits.   Then I saw the "Deal of the Day" was on the Matrix model with the interchangeable heads.  I will keep it for a back-up or if anyone else I know needs a drill.   Just want to point out that ALL the Li-Ion Batteries are pricey no matter the brand.  So I ordered one of those figuring I had just send back this one.  There is another brand I was tempted by  the yellow one  that is $99 and has TWO batteries, a charger and a bag.  If you buy two batteries separately the price is $129.  I am only going to use it around the house and for basic homeowner stuff.  I really do not know how the manufacturers do it quite frankly.  I especially love the flexible shaft for small spaces where the drill head does not reach comfortably.

One small negative for me, and not even enough to drop it a whole star, is that the drill sits loose inside the case. Bought this drill kit to go along with my new house and all the various projects that come with moving to a new place.  There is no interal dividers in the case to prevent the drill from moving around in the case.  The power is sufficient for everything I have needed to do and the battery seems to last very well.  I have only needed to charge it once in the 2 months I have been using it.  The drill is solid, but not too heavy and is reasonable to maneuver with, even on a ladder.  It is a small oversight, but would have been nice if they had done it.  I have not yet built out my tool storage, so I really appreciate not having to search to find the bits I need.  And they also include a hand ratcheting bit driver for when you need to only go "hand tight" on an install. Amazing quality of these tools.   My favorite part of the drill set is the "set" that comes in the case.  So far, the drill has been wonderful to use.

Good for using around the house because of all the variety of tools included. ?I used the toolkit to build a dresser and install some lights.  Everything worked great.  The 450 in lb torque is plenty good: At the high speed drills without hesitation 1/2" holes in hardwood.  The drill and power testing tool came in handy.

I absolutely love it! It comes with a pink case too. I do a lot of DIY projects because I enjoy making and building things for my home. Works like I thought it is smaller than I thought but it is nice I like it.  It is pink which is a rare sight for a drill.

Batteries last a long time and it does not take very long to recharge. I like this much better than I thought I would.  Easy to use for most drilling.  Works great for home projects.

Great battery life for around the house jobs or your work.  The low speed is very torquey. Strong and durable.
